This is definitely popular locally, as I witnessed some regulars. The ambiance is good, feels like a true Florida staple. As far as the food goes, what drew me was the gator tail, which was good. The portions are pretty small to be honest. I cant speak for the ribs or pulled pork but the brisket was pretty dry and bland. I was excited because upon entering, I could smell a smoker or something, but the meat hardly had a smoked taste. The baked beans werent anything to be proud of either. If you like barbeque you dont have to douse in sauce, Id recommend Daves or city bbq. The service was great too, sadly, the main event is disappointing

We bought a slab of ribs (ribs are sold by the pound) and a medium side of beans. For two people a half of slab of ribs is ample. The ribs were moist, smoky, had a nice dark bark that was delicious, I seldom say this but these ribs required neither the sweet or the hot sauce that accompanied them. We enjoyed the sweet sauce which is tomato based and the hot sauce which by our standards was merely spicy. The hot sauce was mustard based. Both sauces complemented the ribs and did not hide the smoky taste. The beans were made from scratch and may have started as dry beans. Excellent food at reasonable prices.

Ok, here is the skinny. Those who read my post know I jug BBQ from South Carolina to Colorado and Indiana to the Florida Keys. Heres what I think about Florida Cracker BBQ. Atmosphere was great, service fantastic. Some of the best coleslaw I have ever had, BBQ Beans great flavor but a little soupy. For my first visit only meat I had was the ribs. They were wet with no smokiness at all. They were edible but nothing to get excited about. Noticed most people there were eating pulled pork or smoked sausage. So I will be returning to try both of those. Really enjoyed my visit so looking forward to being amazed next time.

The service was awesome. Great staff. The ambiance is awesome! This place looks just like an authentic Florida BBQ. All similarities end there. The food was HORRIBLE! The driest pulled pork I have ever had, it was more like jerky. The bbq sauce was bland. The baked beans were bland. Canned baked beans are better. Apparently the fryer wasnt at the right temperature because the grease pooled on anything fried. This does not taste as good as the worst barbecue Ive had in Florida.

This place is AMAZING! Fantastic staff -- clean -- the best BBQ! Hubby and I split something for 2 -- and we came home with another full meal... bbq and sausage, beans and coleslaw were OUT of THIS WORLD! The ribs were good (we make em better at home... thats prolly just a personal preference!) The gator bites were fantastic! The smoked turkey and hand-dipped cod were great. Fresh Iced Tea. Dont let the tacky-outdoor-decorations deceive you! This place is a MUST-STOP!

Its obvious Andrew Miller dont know his barbeque from his butt hole cause if you have all 5 star reviews and his 1 star well its clear he has not had a good meal in years! I have been coming here at least once a week and as many as 5 times a week since it opened. I love everyone and everything keep it up! And Andrew I would invite you to my home for some good cooking but obviously you wouldnt know what good is, probably get your que from wendys!

I got to say that was the worst BBQ Ive had in a long time the pork was chopped it was not pulled it came out cold the ribs were absolutely horrible I was biting bone in rib at the same time it was gross the french fries were the best part of the meal the baked beans were blah the owner needs to go down to King rib in Indianapolis and see how its done thats all I got to say

The food is always excellent Ive been here many times and I have never had to wait for a refill or any of the other things I would complain about with other places they take good care of you and the prices are reasonable the owner is often on site and takes time to greet you and Ensure you are being treated properly and pleased with your order

This little BBQ joint really makes you feel like you are in Florida eating southern BBQ. Their sandwiches are great and served on thick toast. You can taste the honey in the sweet sauce and the hot sauce has a spicy mustard flavor to it that is great. Great place to eat lunch for only slightly more than fast food. Well worth it.

The food is absolutely delicious, especially with their unique bbq sauce. Its even great as warmed-up leftovers. The sitting area is small, but theres still plenty of room for my company group to fit for lunch. The waitress was friendly and showed her hospitality by continually checking on us and giving us sweet teas to-go.

I love the décor so much. Also, with the weather being very wet and dreary it feels as if I stopped at one of those mom & pop places down in Florida. The food is hot and fresh. The tea is sweet and the staff is wonderful. I would always recommend this place to people because it is like a small get away from the Midwest.

We went with a large group of people and the place is small but they have some out door seating. Its a great hole in the wall with good food. They did a good job considering the large group we had (other than one of our familys got skipped over by a take out order and they had to wait on their food longer)

This place was horrible the baked beans are good and thats it, brisket is cubed and taste like it was boiled. I really dont understand how this place is still in business. I hate to be so negative but we really did feed our $20.00 dinner to our dogs except the baked beans which were really good

Absolutely a great place to take the family. Small setting but great food. Hosts/ servers are super friends and the service is crazy fast. Amazing experience. Thank you guys for a great first experience and I will certified come back when I travel this way!!!

Used to work here and still get food from here. So if being in the kitchen and still eating here isnt enough for you then I dont know what is. Excellent food, fair prices, comfortable atmosphere, and friendly staff, definitely earned my 5 stars.

You can smell the huge smoker out back churning away smokey goodness as youre driving by. We were going somewhere else but the aroma pulled us in. We were not disappointed... the BBQ was amazing.

The bbq was decent. The coleslaw and keylime pie were great. We got stale chips with one of the meals. Its good but not the best bbq place I have been to.

We purchased 5# of pork and 5# of beef for our sons graduation. The pork was a big hit, but the beef was barely touched. It was dry and tough.
