My boyfriend and I went to Feast after reading good reviews about the food. All very well deserved. The food was awesome. However, the service was...nonexistent. They use Square, which meant that you tip before you see how the service is, coming from a serving background this left me uncomfortable. If you already have your tip then why work for it? All around the style of Feast is self service. You dont expect this when you walk in. The place has a Silver Dollar, Doc Crows, Manny and Merle feel with a fast food style. You order and pay at the bar. Then you get your own drink, silverware and napkins. Basically no need for a server. We ordered the loaded tots and brisket slides with mac and cheese, the sauce made the meal. Your only option for a side is slaw, you choose creamy or vinegar. Anything else cost extra. :/ I just got out if school and my boyfriend off work. We were looking for a place to relax. So we had a seat at the bar. While we sat there no one waited on us. No offer of a drink list or even a simple "would you like a beer". (They do offer a good selection on Indiana craft beers. ) We felt rushed to eat our food while the staff closed the restaurant down around us. So, instead of finishing our tots while there we asked for a to-go box. The gentlemen behind the bar ran to get the boxes. We couldnt get out of there fast enough for them. They closed 15 minutes before their scheduled time! As soon as we were out the door it was locked with the blinds pulled down. I guess next time we make the drive to New Albany we will just check out The Exchange.

The meat is good. Its so good. The Mac and cheese was great. The cole slaw and potato salad were bland. The slaw might as well have just been shredded lettuce. I expect more from vinegar slaw. The buns were stale. When I called, I asked for enough to feed 10 people and was told they had an option that feeds 6-8. No suggestions were offered as to how to supplement that. With the sides, Im not sure that there was enough in those tiny containers to actually provide a reasonable serving for 6 people. They were only the size of my fist. Im the type of person that understands that food that tastes great costs a little more but this food is still expensive. Very. But the taste (excluding the vinegar slaw and the potato salad) is almost worth all the price. My guests were very pleased with the taste of the meat, beans and Mac& cheese ($4 extra) the young ladies in the store made sure to come out and get me from the enormous line because I had called in my order a couple days earlier. I probably wont go here very often due to this experience but occasionally I might return. Also, this was very extremely easy to find.

We ordered a bunch of food from these guys for the company Christmas party, and they only sent us half of what we ordered. That was kind of lame, but we compensated by buying a couple of pizza which turned out to be a good idea all the way around. THE FOOD HERE IS TERRIBLE. The meats had a nice smokey flavor but were otherwise completely unseasoned. The vegetarian option we ordered was literally a block of tofu soaked in cider vin and smoked. Again, no seasoning. Their sauce is whatever. I dont like it, but maybe other people do? By far the worst thing was their collard greens though. They literally tasted like leafs raked out my back yard and soaked in vinegar. Disgusting. I had heard good things about this place, but I was incredibly disappointed.

--Rating given is for customer service only-- Went in with excitement, having heard many good things. I was told by the staff that if I wanted a seat for my child (2 yrs), I could walk next door and ask to borrow one from a different restaurant. This is not customer service; they might as well have asked me to clean the tables and floors before I sit. Due to the rude reception, I was not inclined to give patronage and thus am unable to judge the food. Again, the rating given is for customer service only. I recommend you try the place and judge for yourself. Just dont be surprised if you come in the company of a toddler and arent well received.

I ordered the half rack and my girlfriend the street tacos. She loved the tacos and the ribs came out looking amazing. But thats just it, they looked amazing. They came out cold and very tough, the Mac n cheese waa awful and like a brick. I turned the bowl upside down and nothing fell from the bowl but bread crumbs. The pototao salad was very bland and salty. My girlfriends parents sides where just as awful. The beans where hard and cold and tasteless. Needless to say this is the worst bbq I have had ever and will not be back to the new Albany location at all.

Very small menu. We were served in under 5 minutes. Nicely decorated and clean inside. Ribs were cooked perfect but I didnt care for the strong smoke flavor or sugar rub. Pulled pork wasnt pulled, just chunks of meat on a cheap bun (guess they got lazy). Wont get that again. Mac & cheese was good but barely warm. Sweet potato fries and tater tots were good and hot. Completely self service, no waiters. Silverware is stored inches from the trash -yuck. Good dinner overall. Well go back.

Not on food or service! I looked for this place for an hr today. I am extremely sick and knowing I had to go into a hospital ASAP. I wanted great bbq which I read was great on your end. Instead after many searches on one way streets for an hr, maybe more, I gave up and settled to one of your competitors which was horrid, paying 12$ for a cold :( sandwich and no chips drink or side. Nasty food. I really wanted to try yours, with no luck before bad news

Ordered the 1/2 lb brisket with mac and cheese and baked beans. Husband also had brisket with beans and slaw. Brisket was dry, cold, flavorless and very fatty. Macaroni seemed old and very dry. Slaw was almost inedible. Only good thing was the baked beans. Portions are very small. Definitely not worth $38 for 2 people (only drank water). Have eaten here many times before, and the quality has definitely gone downhill.

The atmosphere is okay for a Bar B Q restaurant but its not what I would call comfortable. The Bar B Q is flavorful but the portions are small considering the high end price. I wouldnt consider this a good place to bring the family due to the price point but for a quick lunch with friends this should work well.

Foodwise there is not much variety. You either get Pulled Brisket, Pork, or Chicken BBQ. The price is not bad though and the place tells you in its name that its BBQ. I wish they didnt keep the utensils and condiments over the trash cans. Plenty of beer options but they dont stay open very late.

Great find in a upcoming part of New Albany, IN. Place has a good vibe with great caring workers. Brisket, pulled pork Sweet tater fries and tater tots all rocked. Excellent craft beer selection. Walked in and saw Three Floyds on tap on knew I was in for a great night.
