This kind of craft cocktail bar with an intimate lounge feel is common in other cities such as Chicago, but its new to this area. Unlike most of the bars in Kokomo, you cant smoke here. This allows patrons to enjoy the sights and smells to a greater degree. And make no mistake aesthetics are important to a place like this. You dont want anything to dull your senses when you are enjoying something unique and expensive. As you would expect with a place like this the staff is happy to educate you about new beers and cocktails. They are also happy to find out what kind of things you like and then make a special drink just for you. This is one of the best things about a craft cocktail place. This is a wonderful place to bring a date as it has a sense of comfortable class.

This a great bar period. Excellent drinks, very personable service. The live music was very good, and the relaxed but with the right-amount-of-energy atmosphere was very refreshing. Great downtown space with a convivial crowd. This is a modern, gentrified and "hipster" bar in the absolute, best possible sense. This bar is not overly pretentious (a little pretense never hurt anyone), and very down to earth. I know the owner personally through family friends, and this was my first time at the coterie and I will definitely be back.

Discovered this place on social media before a trip to Kokomo - looked interesting and I planned to stop by. It was a little hard to find. South side of the square and on the second floor, steep steps. My gramps couldnt come up, so a family member found a bench outside while the rest of us went up for a quick drink. No one had a Moscow mule before, so I encouraged everyone to order one being a personal favorite. It was a great cocktail! The place had a cozy, hipster vibe. Wish I could have stayed longer. Plan to return!

This was the fourth time Ive been to the Coterie and had the same experience everytime, slow service. We got there at 4:30 pm on Saturday, there were exactly 5 customers sitting at the bar with all the tables empty. We waited...waited some more...waited a bit longer and the bartender finally showed. I wouldnt mind paying the prices there if the experience was inline with the cost, but its not. And the writing all over the walls? Boring.

I just had a beautifully charred 18 ounce ribeye cooked to perfection. This place never fails to blow me away with the ingenuity and quality of their food. Not to mention the frequent off menu items and specials. They have events that bring unique flavor and excitement to down town Kokomo.

This bar is a bit of an anomaly in Kokomo. One of the few classy joints. As far as booze goes, they pretty much exclusively serve craft/artisan varieties. The *one* exception is they have cans of PBR for when youve already spent too much on craft beer
