The service here was abysmal. We were seated quickly and the food came out fairly quickly, but my order was wrong. I had asked for steak in my chimichanga, which was one of the choices, but it came out with chicken. Our waitress never came back to check and after waiting 10 minutes trying to get someones attention, I finally saw the hostess and asked her to get our waitress. Another 5 minutes passed and our waitress finally showed up. When I told her the problem, she simply took the plate and walked away, no apology or even acknowledgement. Generally when something is prepared incorrectly, a restaurant will quickly remake the dish, but not in this case. My husband finished his entire meal before my corrected meal came out and my corrected meal did not come out hot. When I asked to speak to a manager, it took another 10 minutes and finally a waitress came out and said there is nothing they can do for us. Again, no apology. The hostess saw we were having trouble and she did apologize but there was nothing she could do, obviously. She did tell us that there was no manager on duty for that shift and that the owner was not there. So it seems that they were trying to lead us to believe that the waitress we spoke to was a manager when, in fact, there was no manager there. This is the first time I have ever had to leave a restaurant without being able to eat. While my husband did get to eat, his burrito was extra thin and only had meat on the ends. The center of the burrito was empty. I will never return and I wouldnt recommend anyone else go either.

**Should have read the past months slew of 1* reviews before reviewing or I wouldnt have wasted my time. 4 or 5 terrible reviews, in a row, with no owner/manager response? No wonder the service sucks.** I waited until the third time this happened but felt the need to leave a review. We went in tonight and there were 4 servers and about 12-15 tables seated inside and out. There were two groups ahead of us and after a few minutes they said they were tired of waiting and left. I then walked up to a server and asked to speak to a manager. She then walked by us waiting by the front door twice before asking if we had been helped yet. I said no and that wed like to sit outside and another waitress walked up and said "there is going to be a wait we are too busy.". She was rude in her tone and there were no less than 8 tables open outside. As we were walking out the same rude waitress asked the couple behind us if they had been helped and grabbed them menus..... Guess Ill wait until you close and see if the next ones can do better. Heard you had already been closed once for health code violations anyway...

Was very disappointed. Made reservations way in advance and they either didnt have the staff to cover us or their staff was just horrible. Waited 1 hr just to get a drink and had to beg her to take our order after waiting an hour and 45 min. 3 hour meal and she messed up checks and had to wait even longer just to leave. They didnt have anyone working the bar so the staff to make drinks so that took even longer for our large party. Worst part was the waitress had the nerve to say some people in our group were mean people! Seriously...a 3 hour poorly serviced dinner for our friends birthday was not what any of us planned and ruined our plans for later as we ran out of time! If you dont have the staff to cover ur inside tables and people who have made reservations, close off the patio seating!

Service took over 90 minutes for an order of steak and chicken fajita, no drinks. Sat down for service but ended up taking it to go due to time delay. Upon opening the food I was greeted by bland, and burned food, a pitiful amount of rice, beans (which I asked to be substituted out for rice), and somehow shrimp ended up in with my chicken and steak. Not sure what happened to this place but the quality has taken an absolute nose dive. Table next to us received their food after waiting for an hour and there was a hair in their plate. Multiple other tables could be heard discussing their hour long wait. Level of business was low, only people sitting outside and no one inside, 20 people tops. Stay away from this place.

I have nothing nice to say about this place. Margaritas were passable, but the kicker was the poor service. We sat for about 45 minutes after we ordered without a server coming back to us. It truly was not the servers fault as the kitchen was slow and she was the only one serving patrons. The other servers were standing gossiping. We paid for our drinks and walked out while a large number of other guests waited to be sat at a half empty restaurant. Needless to say avoid them!

Service was fine. I dont know what that was in the Del Mar Burrito, but it wasnt Crab... not even sure it was Krab... I guess maybe it was canned krab? Drab Krab? Rubber Krab? Anyway, not good... it was all picked out of the burrito... either spell your "crab" with a K, or remove it from the recipe, it was really bad. Tamale I had as part of the combo was dry, also not good. Chips, refried beans, and rice were good. So was the taco and enchiladas... but not sure well be back.

The food (agave burrito and enchiladas w/ ranchero sauce) was incredibly bland. Ive never experienced that at a Mexican placed before. Theres a much more authentic place a few blocks south on Rangeline (Cancun on 5th). Cheaper, better, and more authentic. Im guessing Agave is great for drinks and hanging out, but their food was just not very good.

The guy who said Cancun Restaurant on Rangeline is cheaper, better and more authentic is a complete idiot. None of these "mexican" restaurants are authentic...duh. But Agaves food quality is far superior to most Mexican restaurants. Agave is the best Mexican restaurant Ive been to on the North side.

I was out with my orchestra section and we decided to have lunch here. The service was a little of a wait, but at least we had some good chips and salsa. We got our food eventually and I chose a veggie quesadilla (I dont eat meat when I go out). Its a place Ill go back to when I have the chance!

Went for lunch on a Sunday. We were seated outside. We were not served for over 25 minutes even after two attempts to inform the hostess we still had not been served. They continued to seat people and serve them around us. We will not return to this poorly managed restaurant.

Literally one of the worst experiences at a restaurant Ive ever had. Took 1 hour to get drinks, which the server messed up then took another hour for food. All in all we were there from 7:30 to 10:30pm on a Monday. Food was decent but I will never go back. Unbelievably bad...

The chips and salsa were yummy. The guacamole was perfectly seasoned and delicious. We ordered Tres Burritos and Del Mar enchiladas...both were very good and the service was amazing. We went early for dinner which makes for a very pleasant atmosphere.
