We made reservations and specifically asked for a table, not a booth. Upon arriving, we were seated...at a booth. We told the hostess we specifically asked for a table. She went back to the stand and left us sitting at the booth. She came back and said, "Oh yeah...we had it in our notes. Theres not tables open right now...but one should open up in 10-15 minutes or so." So, we went back to the lobby and waited about 15 minutes for a table to open up. After finally being seated at our table, the waiter took our drink orders. I ordered lemonade. NEVER order lemonade....unless you like waiting for your drink. They say it is fresh squeezed lemonade. I had to wait 15-20 minutes for my drink. Seriously. Everyone else had their drink, and I believe our appetizers even arrived before I got my lemonade. Also, there are not free refills for lemonade. It did not state this on the menu and the waiter did not inform me of this either. He just asked, "Would you like a refill?" I said "Yes." Then, when the bill came, I was charged for an additional lemonade. Actually, I had 2 refills....so I paid almost $10 for lemonade. Ridiculous for that horrible/slow service. Then comes the food. I am not a big seafood person. We were all there for my sisters bday....I went with the fish and chips...something safe. VERY disappointing. The fish was soggy and the chips (fries) were very limited in number. I think I counted 12 fries. I was shocked at how small the serving of fries were....since the prices were higher than average. Overall, this was a bad experience from them messing up our reservations to waiting forever on my lemonade to bad tasting food with very small portions. This was my first time at Bonefish, and this will be my last.

we wont be going back for one main reason. first, you gotta understand that wednesday is bang bang shrimp day (for $5) and so this place is BUSY!! by busy i mean, you wont find any parking spots and you (and about 5 others) will do laps around the lot like sharks waiting for a parking spot. in the end, you will be forced to either miss your reservation or use the vaket parking service, which is free but you of course have to tip . i do not do valet for any reason no matter what the situation. that is, unless im eating at Bonefish. cause you dont have a choice if you get there between 6pm and 8pm. this one thing is the reason we wont be going back. the bang bang is awesome. the food is about an 8 out of 10. but overpriced a bit. GET A RESERVATION CAUSE THIS PLACE GETS VERY CRAMPED IN THE WAITING ROOM. with a reservation we usually walk right in and go around everybody. waits can be over an hour on wed (this is the only day we go, because of the BB shrimp, but i assume fridays and saturdays are brutally busy.) but then again, what place on 82nd street isnt? over all, we are going to find another new place to go, 90% of the reason for that is because of the fact they have only about half as many parking spots as they need and the valet service is pretty slow too. you have to use valet and the place is so busy even on wednesdays. ( in case anybody is wondering, they have $5 cocktails which are really good, and the beers are between 3-5 dollars.)

The pesto and the corn chowder with lump crab meat were great. The crab cake was good. My filet was more undercooked the further I went along. Our server was Brent. Brent likes to describe beverages in great detail and provide you with the stops he needs to make before returning back to you. Unfortunately he left out the specials and description of the menu items. I cut half of my upgraded 26.00 steak and asked for a to go box. I pointed out to him how the steak was undercooked. His response was I will let them know. I was feeling generous so I left a tip of 4.99 instead of the nickel I planned on a 72.00 check. Far too expensive for far less than perfect meat. I really am not hard to please. All he had to say was I am so sorry. But no Happy you were reluctant to do so.

Bonefish Grill is incredible. The food is amazing (especially the Bang Bang Shrimp) and the service is great. Its fine dining, and while the prices are high, you have to look at the menu. The fish is fresh, and the steaks are choice. The location is bad for this one... but the food makes up for it. I had a buddy who used to serve here, so I became friends with the bartenders while waiting for him to get off work. He now works for one in another state! So they must treat their employees good too. If you go in, regardless if just for this, order the Bang Bang Shrimp. You wont be sorry. Great place for a meal and to take a date!

The waitress Tye was AMAZING she made up for the long wait, the rude hostess, not having anything we liked to drink (Pepsi fans not Coke, and seriously NO sweet tea) and the fact they were out of spinach, and the food was not very good so for the $63 we spent we need to stop somewhere else the portions were so small.....She blessed us with complimentary cheesecake (the best thing we ate so far) so she received a very nice tip! Thanks Tye u made our first experience a better one, but it will be our last! Guess we should of read the reviews and ordered The bang bang shrimp!

I didnt hate the food, I didnt hate the service, I came down to visit while my wife was in training for a job and my primary quarrel was honestly just value. I thought it cost, way too much for food quality and flavor. So entirely opinion based and you may think otherwise but... That might seem harsh, and perhaps it was due to being in a bigger city (but same state.... so I doubt it and its a chain) but I really just. Meh.

The wait was forever and even though the food looked good and the restaurant had a good atmosphere, they classified a long rectangular seating area, where its "first come first serve" as a "bar". They only allowed people 21 and over to sit at a table they called a bar that is 10 feet away from the actual bar and bartenders. I mean, a martini isnt going to suddenly fly into my mouth or anything...?
