Horrible experience despite good reviews. I looked up Stone Creek on Google and chose to take my family there based on the excellent reviews. We ordered two dishes and a kid’s meal, chicken alfredo, no chicken, as that wasnt a standard option. Salads came quickly and the kid’s meal arrived 20 minutes later, with chicken. The kid’s meal was replaced 15 minutes later without the chicken and my older daughter ate it. An hour into the visit, after 2 inquiries, the adult entrees were still not at the table. People seated well after us were departing or eating desert. Our 15 month old daughter was out of snack food and she and our 6 year old were getting bored. We waited another 10 minutes and informed our waiter we had to leave. He asked if we wanted to see a manager. In my opinion, the manager should have come to us by this point, and spending more time with a manager wasn’t going to get me a meal nor salvage the schedule needed for a relaxing meal with our children. We left. The food might be great here but I’ll never know, because I won’t be back.

Went today for a date. Very pleased with the service. Servers recommendation for risotto beef was on the mark for a red meat eater. My date was well-pleased with the chicken dish, and the substitutions he asked for on the sides were made with no back talk. We both ordered shrimp cocktail for appetizers; the shrimp and sauce was as good as St. Elmos! I havent been to Stonecreek for three years, and it was even better than I remembered. This restaurant sets a very high standard for quality food in a casual environment. We dressed in jeans and polos, but many more came in their Sunday suits ... not a problem. I scored a hit out of the park with my date!

The atmosphere was romantic and quiet, tucked in a booth in back. The beef medallions were awesome - tender, juicy and flavorful. The food was prepared immediately, and the wait staff doted on us. There was no wait at 5:30, but the restaurant was nearly full of patrons when we arrived - a plus. We finished off the night with a slice of cheesecake - not too small, but just right for the two of us to share, drizzled in carmel with two whip cream buds. Just an excellent experience all around.

Service was great (Emily). Ive been a big fan of Mesh in downtown. I was very excited to try Stone Creek because its same company with Mesh. My husband got ribeye and the texture was little bizarre...not tender at all and I couldnt swallow it. Overall the food was ok(bread is really good, I liked my ahi tuna and fillet medallions and lobster risotto) but I would drive little further and go back to Mesh or other restaurants in downtown.(Mesh is cozier and quieter and they have better menu)

The food is good enough. Service has been slow-ish but not completely unacceptable. The huge negative issue is an incredibly LOUD dining room on busy nights. Weve eaten there two or three times on busy evenings, and each time it has been almost impossible for adults to speak in a normal conversational tone and be heard across the table. Like most people, we dont go out to just eat, and until they figure out how to knock down the noise, we wont be back.

One of my favorite restaurants around Indy. They offer excellent quality food at prices well below some fine dining restaurants. I highly recommend going early throughout the week for the early bird menu prices. Ive tried many items on their menu and I have yet to find something I dont like, but my favorite is the horseradish dijon crusted sirloin.

We dined for Sunday lunch. The Pros: -Good service during average business hour -Ambience was nice -Bread and oil was great The cons -We ordered Steaks which were over AND under cooked. -The WORST shrimp cocktail for $12. Better off buying shrimp at Kroger and a bottle of cocktail. -Overall the food was pretty mediocre for the price.

We had dinner to celebrate our anniversary. The atmosphere was quiet and romantic. The food was outstanding. We had the orange roughy and prime rib as recommended by our server, Nicole. Our server was terrific, very attentive to our needs and personable. A very enjoyable experience. Bob Sobek.

The food and service are great. Some items are better than others. Priced at about 25 bucks a head. Steak, seafood, chicken and pasta dishes. Salads are great, and the house bread with dipping sauce/oil is divine.

For a light delicious dinner, I suggest the Triple Dip appetizer with your favorite drink and finish off with the Brownie Sundae. Sit at the bar and have Stacey wait on you ... you cant go wrong!
