Returning home from vacation in Chicago, stopped for lunch here. The perky friendly waitress (Ms Perky) greeted us with a smile as bright as sunlight, and attended to our needs immediately in this busy crowded restaurant. We wasnt ready to eat just yet, and decided to take a short walk since the weather was simply perfect. We returned to the restaurant, she greeted us again and we ordered take out. We sat at the seating area (front entrance) while our order was being prepared. (There was a large group of us travelling together, the majority ate at other eateries). I left my male travelling companion with my handbag (requesting he wait until I returned) on the bench in the seating area to check on our food. While standing at the counter Ed (manager?) asked Ms. Perky about my order, she came, heated our dessert and concluded the transaction with her smile. (Unbeknownst to me my companion LEFT MY HANDBAG unattended ON THE BENCH as he came to the counter where I was standing!) We left the restaurant and had traveled over a hundred miles when I discovered my handbag was missing! The restaurant was closed! I called my cellphone first, left a if found message, second call to my home. All Thanks, Honor, Glory and Praise to GOD Our Father! Ed called and left the number to the restaurant he had my handbag and it was safely stored in the safe! Crystal sent my handbag, priority mail @ her cost. Thank You: Ms Perky! Ed! Crystal! THE THIEF, THANK YOU FOR LEAVING MY HANDBAG!!!!!! Thief Got approx $200. I forgive you! All Honor to my Father and His Holy Son, Jesus Christ!

when we arrived (My wife and daughter) the soup was out of the steam table and on the counter. I really should have known better. but we came for it. the all you can eat soup and salad for 8.99. our server while obviously new brought my wife her hot tea but no more hot water till i asked. our drinks got refilled when he wasnt busy closing down. the soup was tasty but not very hot... i ordered the baked potatoe as a reorder and was informed it was out and that it would take half an hour to heat up a bowl..... about 9:20 at this point..... my wifes second bowl of broccoli cheddar(yours is her favorite),,, she is from Cyprus and is rather picky about which places she likes to eat at and she always wants to come here. her second bowl was luke warm. now lets talk about the WMDs (biscuits) that came to the table I sat there in awe wondering how the hot (hotter than the soup) but rock hard stale biscuits could have been any more suited to be used as crackers. REALLY Sorry we bothered you!!! wont happen again

I am the guy that all the salt ended up on my eggs, the Salt Shakers fault! I ordered the classic breakfast & a side of pancakes. I showed the male shift supervisor (I suppose) that the Salt shaker dumped all over my Eggs, I WASN"T OFFERED OR EVEN ASKED IF MY FOOD NEEDED REPLACED! To start off when I order my food, the "waitress clearly misunderstood, I wanted the classic Breakfast & a side of Hotcakes (3) when the food came I had "NO Biscuits" (I did not ask for Hotcakes) instead of Biscuits. And when a ask if I was only to get 2 hotcakes, and no biscuits, she defensive, I apologized for not making myself clearer, she got more defensive. Yet, I still tipped her $5.00 and the cashier the $0.22 change which I left. The customer is always right, and my wife a former server herself would never allow me to stiff the server(s).

There are hundreds of Bob Evans throughout the nation, and we have eaten in many of them. However, our Bob Evans in Clarksville Indiana is the very best we have ever been. We have always had the best breakfast and dinner meals. The eggs are fresh and cooked according to our desired order. The breads and bacon/sausages calls us to come back over and over. The restaurant is always clean and maintained properly. And the main reason to come back are the wait staff that provides outstanding service. Our regular server Scott knows what we want before we even seat down is amazing. This is what a restaurant should be! Kudos to all the staff at Bob Evans, Clarksville Indiana.

Only Bob Evans Ill go to in Clarksville, the one in New Albany accused me and my coworkers of stealing. Because they sat us at such a small table and we are heavy set women we had to sit everything on the floor and we didnt think to put it back when we were done. Keep in note we invited our boss for the first time here. And none of us had bags in the first place. It was so embarrassing everyone in the restaurant was watching us and we never got a sorry or anything. So I dont care if I have to drive an hour Clarksville is the only Bob Evans Ill go to. I put four only because Im still not over the pain you company caused me.

WE WENT FOR SUPPER AND IT WAS LIKE WE WERE NOT THERE WE .ORDER AND WE COULD SEE OUR FOOD UNDER THE HEAT LAMP . OUR WAITER WAS DOING THAT JUST WAITING FOR MORE TIME TO PASS. FOOD WAS BLAND ,LACK TASTE AND EXTREMELY SALTY.RECEIVED OUR BILL AND THE WAITER SEEMED PUZZLED WHEN WE ASKED FOR PUMPKIN PIE AND COFFEE AND CLEAN FORKS.VERY SMALL SERVING. WE WENT TO PAY OUR BILL AND ALL THE STAFF SEEMED EMBARRASSED AT THE MANAGER WHO WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO COULD OPEN THE REGISTER. WAITED ABOUT 7-10 MINUTES WE FOUND CORRECT CHANGE AND LEFT VERY DISAPPOINTED ..BOB EVANS WOULD BE EMBARRASSED

Worse service ever!! Deborah was our waitress, if you could call her that. Her folded arms, rolling eyes and laziness were nothing compared to the drink refills that were not offered and when we asked for more coffee we were given less than 1/2 cup which was no where near hot. Everything brought to our party of eight was given to the person at the end and told to "pass it down". My husband went to the front to get coffee and she told him she had already been to our table and it was our fault. We will never go back!!!

We sat at the Bob Evans in Clarksville IN for 2 hours and didnt get to eat because the server forgot to take our order, forgot to put the order in and then they brought out the wrong order twice. We have 3 small kids and had to travel back to IL; we didnt have any more time to waste so we left and ate somewhere else. Never going there again.

Since they have had a change of ownership the food is not the same, prices have went up and they have cut down to 1 cook so the wait is long after you get seated and the poor waitresses have to apologize. Same story a big buy out company....Bring back the way it was.

Good place for breakfast! Also they have a three- course meal that is good for the price. (1) Your choice of bread (2) Pick soup or salad (3) Pick your entree and you also get a dessert! Good service too!

Usually we get good service, but this morning we sat at our table for 20 minutes and never seen a waitress! We left...no one seemed to even notice. Dont know changed, but we left hungry and disappointed
