For this review, Im torn between the love of the food and my sense of frustration regarding the service. I must say, Popeyes food is entirely unparalleled among other local fast food restaurants; the crisp flakiness combined with the tenderness of the chicken strips is so pleasing that I have no qualms about wiping the logo-plastered wax paper for crispiness crumbs; everything about the biscuits, from the buttery, flaky outside crust, to the pillow-soft, perfectly textured, thick inside layers would entice me to patronize Popeyes, even if for nothing else. I love the food style, and the ambiance of the colors, music, and smells. That being said, over my last 5 (or so) visits, the cleanliness and general sense of being prepared has not been up to par (think empty napkin containers, not enough sizes of cup lids, dirty tables, a huge bag of straws just sitting on the table, no paper towels in the restroom, drink machine that doesnt work well for water, etc.). Some staff members are kind and helpful, while some are curt and unwilling to take initiative to help customers and fulfill necessary tasks. For instance, employees will sit and FaceTime their friends in the eating area while there is clearly much work to be done. In addition, drive-through times are WAY too long (I was told to expect a 3 minute, when in reality it was closer to 8). Overall, the food quality is worth the visit to me, even if I have to come inside to get my food in a decent time frame. If poor customer service is something that really gets your goat, this may not be the restaurant for you. Food gets a 4, employees get a 1. Hence the 3 star rating.

Upon pulling up to the drive thru order kiosk, we were asked to wait to order. This would have been fine if it were done in a nice, friendly manner, however it was short and rude. After waiting five or so minutes just to order, at the screen, we payed for our meal and then proceeded to wait twenty minutes at the second window to be handed our food. During this time, no employee explained to us why we were waiting. In fact, we noticed multiple times the employees just standing there watching us, playing on their phones, and eating food, which is baffling since we had yet to get ours. Finally, after twenty minutes of no contact, one employee asked us to move forward and wait longer for our food. Frustrated at this point, we asked how long till our food would arrive. Multiple employees then laughed and we were told 3 minutes. Still no reasons for our delay were given. After pulling forward, we noticed 3 more cars behind us were instructed to pull into parking spots to wait. Finally, after another 15 minutes of waiting in the pulled forward spot, one of us went inside to complain and get our food. It wasnt until this point we finally recieved our food. It is a huge shame, for this was my first time experiencing Popeyes, and the food was delicious. However the 35 minute wait, which is long even for a fancy restaurant, and the extraordinary disregard for the customer the employees had will prevent me from returning.

We went through the drive thru, got home with order and the fries in both orders were hard and not even edible. I called to inform Popeyes of the situation. They offered to comp 2 combo meals for us. We went back ordered our free combo meals and decided to dine in. Our meals were both very good. However, the rest of the service was not. They had 3 employees working. It took a long time before we got our order. Every single table needed to be wiped off, the floors were dirty, the 2 trash cans were full and over flowing, no lids were available for the drinks. Customers had to ask the employees for assistance with these issues before any of them were taken care of. It just does not appear Popeyes at this location is managed very well.

Horrible...we stayed in line for 30 minutes after ordering, when we finally got to the window they charge me for some other persons meal, we complained about waiting so long and the manager asked if we still wanted our food, we said yes and she took it as no, when I told her this was bull that we werent staying in line for 30 minutes and not getting our food, she stated she wasnt there that she just came on, and she didnt like that we werent happy so she decided not to serve us...will NEVER EVER return to a Popeyes any where! There was no apologies at all for their service, only excuses that she just came on and they only had 3 people....WORST EVER

Food is great but service is terrible. I usually hit the drive thru and order without an issue. Both times Ive been inside to order I was given the run around and it took ten times longer to order the exact same thing as I do in the drive thru. I dont know why going in results in such trouble. I have to edit this review after my last experience. 20 minutes in line with one car in front of me. Chicken strips as thin as fries. Ordered bit size shrimp and got 4 whole shrimp. Thats the last time I go. I wish I could take stars from reviewers

Ive been at the Anderson location a couple of times. The food never disappointed but the customer service sure did. I was treated rudely the first time by the cashier, but the food was great and there were no problems with my order. Although, the customer service lacked, I gave Popeyes another chance for the food. Unfortunately, I wasnt treated any differently than the first time. The food was great, but I felt too uncomfortable to ever go back again. The attitude and lack of communication with the customer made me feel highly unwelcome.

Stopped at the Anderson, IN location while traveling. Have ate at other Popeyes and love their biscuits but this location was definetly lacking! The drive thru had a long line so we went inside. There was a line there as well. One guy in front of us left due to the wait time. Two other people were trying to get their money back. The poor cashier was doing her best while the manager stayed in the back. We left without ordering because the line never moved in the 10 minutes we were there!!

Disappointed. Love popeyes, but this place let me down. I was asked if id like to try the surf in turf...turns out they didnt do that anymore. Ok, cool. "Can i have a shrimp poboy?" they were out of bread. Yes, bread. "Ok. Ill have 3 tender meal with mac n cheese." the mac n cheese will be a few minutes to make. Do you want something different? Bottom line...this popeyes ruined my general view of popeyes :(

Ive only had one good experience since this dump has been open. Management is incompetent and staff is even more incompetent. Go through the drive-thru and you can count on something missing. Ask for something, count on them not having it or wait 15 minutes to get it. Only reason why its 1 star is because the food tastes good. Just a matter of time before this place is shut down for good.

2 people in front of me, 1st guy didnt get his order right twice. 2nd lady had been waiting for 10 min. As I go to order the supervisor turns around and says the warmer doesnt work and hasnt been working in weeks. Employees have been putting food there and handing it out. She says the heat is not to code. I turned around and walked out. Watch for food poisoning!
