The food was tasty and prices matched perceived value. The one big disappointment of our meal was the asparagus. The dish was $9, one of the most expensive appetizers. There were 5 or six thin asparagus drowned in balsamic reduction and the poached egg was in pieces, no yolk could be seen. Had the dish been executed better it would have been amazing. The flavor combination would have been great if there was less balsamic and the yolk had been on the plate. Execution of the other dishes was on point,so there maybe there was just one inexperienced chef in the back who flubbed the asparagus up...The price seemed high when I compared the serving size to the other dishes we ordered. The drinks were delicious and priced fairly. Our waitress was friendly and the service was good.

This is a great spot for a night out with friends. We went with a party of four and no one left hungry. The food options were plentiful. The drinks were mostly average, although the pineapple mojito was pretty incredible. The downside is the markup for being in Norton Commons. We frequent upscale taco bars and tapas style in Chicago, so we were surprised to see that the prices were much higher than we expected. Overall, this would be an ideal spot for a drinks and an appetizer on the patio in the fall.

Robin Garr reviewed another restaurant in town and complained that his conversation was constantly interrupted by the obsessive server refilling his water, you wont have that problem here. My water sat empty most of the meal, and I was only drinking water, at 5pm, with only one other table of customers in the joint. The burrito was on par with qdoba and shouldnt be mentioned in the same sentence as a spot like El Mundo. Norton Commons restaurants always have a ratings bump from their neighbors.

Service was the worst Ive experienced in Louisville. The restaurant was not at all crowded and we had to get our own napkins and silverware from a near by table. We watched the waitress laughing and taking photos with other employees and we were waiting on our drink order. Food arrived and still no drinks. She actually acted aggravated when she came back and asked how the food was and we requested our drinks. Too many good restaurants in the city to spend time and money here.

The barbacoa nachos are one of the best things you can get - they are very good and best shared because they are so big! Drinks are delicious as well. The tacos were very mediocre. The steak taco was good, but I have had much better, and for the price I would not order them again. They are also very small. The service here was not good, I dont know if it was an off-day for her or what. It seemed like the other servers did a much better job keeping up with their tables.

Beautiful restaurant! The queso was what youd expect. The three tacos I had - braised short rib, shrimp, and white fish - were great. The churros were warm and were even better dipped on caramel. We came in just after opening so there werent many people eating but the bar was packed when we left. Service was great. Hoping for some daily specials to come....well definitely be back and hopefully there will be some outside seating added by then!

The place was a complete let down. The margaritas were good but small and overpriced. The food was incredibly overpriced for the amount they give you. The only thing i some what enjoyed was the queso. I will never be going back to this place again. The tacos were only about 6in in diameter and looked like the size of a cigarette when you rolled it up. Never going back. I never spent so much money on such a small amount of food in my life!

Food is incredibly average. People giving this place 4-5 stars are friends of the owners (there are a bunch of them and they know a lot of people in the neighborhood). It is was 1/3 less $ it would be passable, but what you get for the price they charge is a joke. Dont fall for the essentially paid reviews. Take a pass. Too many good options in Louisville to bother with this place.

Servers were friendly but food was not as described with scanty portions and one item delivered very late after servers tried to clear the remaining food and had already brought the check which included this item. Overpriced for what was served and some accommodation should have been made to the check for failure to get the item to the table.

Very expensive for what little food you got. Do not go hungry! The food I did order was tasty though. Service was poor, except one waiter! Rest of staff were rude, including the manager. Serious let down for a new restaurant especially in Norton Commons :(

The breakfast was great -really good food, unique & great service. I thought the prices were very reasonable. Not sure why anyone would complain about price here?? The cowboy coffee was awesome! Ill definitely go back!

Came here with a local as I was on business from New Jersey. I felt the tacos were very tasty and reasonably priced for the quality. Cool atmosphere as well.
