Its THE BOMB!!! This is NOT your average chicken coop. This is a small family run business thats been around for ages and they get it right! Their chicken beats anyone elses in Kalamazoo or Portage hands down (Lees, KFC, Popeyes... the rest of them cant even compare)! Their boneless "slims" which r big chicken strips are soooo GOOD!! They also have fresh fish caught right here in our local lakes daily and everything is always fresh. The potatoes and gravy are super yummy too. I do wish they had biscuits like at Lees famous recipe (they just have Hawaiian rolls) but hey who really cares when the rest is so good!?? U wont find many menu items or quality of food at other Chicken Coops. Its worth a lil drive if youre craving some fried chicken or fish. Ive never had a bad experience and been going here more than 30yrs. Peak times get busy, so if u dont want to stand in line call ahead. I definitely recommend it!!

The fish was very good, nice and clean place. would have like to have help from the counter employee to save me money by putting my order as a meal or ask if I wanted a drink with my order. I would go again but look closer to the menu.
