WHAT HUMAN WOULD RUIN A KIDS 14TH BIRTHDAY! I have been a loyal customer to Hollywood Blvd for over 10 years, and has never had an issue with coming to this theater until today.. I felt like our party of 10 was racially profiled at the ticket counter, and I have never felt so insulted in my life... I filled out for tickets for my son 7 years ago and has been using the same tickets every year regardless of his age, also Madeline Lucas person responsible for sending the email sent me the email this afternoon 4/23/15 so I couldnt understand how they wouldnt allow us to use the tickets after being told we can and has never been asked for identification from ticket agents.. Also to add insult to injury it was my sons 14th birthday and we were asked to leave even after agreeing the tickets were useless due to his age, Manager Jeannine Called the police on us because I refused a $2 off discount after being treated like crap! This kind of behavior was unacceptable and I plan to reach out to Hobson Financial Group Also regarding this matter, I understood we couldnt use the tickets but to have myself and my sons 8 friends escorted out by police was embarrassing and uncalled for!!! What human would want to ruin a 14 year old birthday by calling the police and embarrassing them in front of other customers after we agreed to pay for the tickets at full cost! So humiliating, embarrassing, not to mention my son waited for this day to enjoy it with his friends and was asked to leave to a mistake.... ALSO SPOKE WITH SO CALLED MANAGEMENT AND IM STARTING TO THINK BOB "ROBERT" WAS NOT APART OF MANAGEMENT.... I GUESS EVERYBODY IS MISSING MY POINT IT WASNT ABOUT THE TICKETS IT WAS HOW WE WERE TREATED ON MY SONS BIRTHDAY THAT WAS RUINED BY EMBARRASSING OUR ENTIRE PARTY AND CALLING THE POLICE AFTER I REFUSED A $2 OFF DISCOUNT, NOT ONCE IS ANYONE THAT IS RESPONDING TO HOW WE WERE TREATED SAYING SORRY FOR YOUR SONS BIRTHDAY AND CALLING THE POLICE FOR NO REASON IS BEING ADDRESSED. BOB WAS MORE CONCERNED ABOUT THE REVIEWS OF THE BUSINESS, AND YES SOME MAY HAVE VALUES BUT NOT ALL!

Well, we just left this place and I really did not like it at all. First of all, we were given a Groupon for four for our family, we had an additional two with us. When we got there, we could not use the Groupon for opening weekends or for Paramount movies. Needless to say, I ended up paying full price for everyone. I still have the Groupon but don’t think we will go back. Secondly, my younger son was overcharged for a $9.50 burger for $15.95. The server ended up getting the manager as I questioned the bill. The manager stated that since he added a patty (piece of meat) there was an additional charge. Since we were sitting at tables where we were sitting by four and by two, even though I asked for the bill to be on one, there were two separate bills and no one informed me that my son was purchasing something with an upcharge to my bill, especially since he was under age to decide for himself. The place was way too expensive and I would have rather spent $93.00 at IPic where the place is clean and great customer service in the theatre. The place seemed sticky, grimy, with an old stale smell to it. I also didn’t like that they took your order while the movie was on. What a distraction! I missed a lot of the movie giving our order and speaking with the server and manager about the bill. An IPIC experience is way better. They take your order before the movie stars so you don’t miss a thing. The seating was terrible as well. Nothing special about this place! Uncomfortable seating with overpriced food! I think I will stick with AMC and IPic! Oh and by the way, they charge you extra for sauces that you should get with Freddy Fingers anyway! I am still itching from being there. Just filthy feeling. Hate the office chair approach. Apparently, they dont consider what people are writing on these reviews to make it better. Most of the good reviews are probably from people who work there or something. IPic will get my money every time. Btw, it seems like the managers only respond to the post they like on here.

Loyal Customer is Always Right WRONG !! I have been coming here since 2009 Avatar was my first Movie. I now live in chicago however i still made the the drive. May 30 9:15 went to se Guardians of the Galaxy 2. received food turkey burger/ fries ! OMG tasteless Microwaved ok looked for waitress no sign 20mins well she is back do you want another drink no question about the food. explained the food " oh i will tell the Manger "ok thanks" No sign of her or the Manger WOW Movie almost most over i then ask another person working there for a drink. Ok movie Over ! the waitress came back slammed the check on the table left! my friend then left the Movie to talk to the Manger she said she measured the food in we consumed to much. ok well always order the turkey burger we didnt EAT and we just said we will wait for the turkey burger at the movies we once loved ! Manger this why the Service is Bad Leadership is Lacking. ok look I always come here order a bottle of wine or multiple glasses food & My friends! bill is always over 80 depending on drinks william hill wine bottle is 39.99 & u think i want to steal 9.95 cents turkey burger lol ! Yes we got Super Hungry after 20 mins in most likely eaten too much if the waitress would of came back in a timely manner this would of been avoided. I explained to the Manger she didnt care i was apparently a turkey burger thief at this point lol ! so we was only offered a 5 dollar discount after Pleading !! so the bill only came up to 34.15 because the waitress never came back we always spend over this but Im glad we didnt!! horrible service even worse the MANGER ! Im No Bouji person i have worked at Wendys in customer service is important Even one waitress who work there asked me " have you ever worked in service she said thanks most people dont clean up in put the food at the end of the the table". she thanked me twice! No one not even the Manger Apologized . I never came at them abrasive ! Highly disappointed !!

READ THIS BEFORE YOU THINK OF GOING TO THIS PLACE One of the worst experiences of my movie life, took my kids and their friends , after running a gift card I just received the girl told me their system in not taking it, asked to try again and she said if it is not working , it is not working ...I had 6 kids and had no choice but to pay with a diffrente card. Got indide, once movie started a waiter comes in saying we have to purchase one item if food per person. I explained to him that I just got back from a birthday party and I dont need food, may be an item per table. He went back with his manager Kate who is 10 times rude and demanded we order food or drink. I explained to her that I am not paying $4 a soda and we dont need food , she said this is their policy that is written on their menu. Went out to talk to her manager manuel, talk about rude !!!! Unbelievable rude arrogant guy who kept demanding either I buy food for everyone as this is their policy or I leave with kids. Now I have kids half way through the movie so he knew that aint happening and I am only left with one choice . Paying extra 40 for drinks ! So to go see a kiddie movie for 6 kids I ended up paying over $100 !!!!!!! Talk about rip off, rude customer service, small theater . Not just I am never stepping a foot in this place I will make sure I tell all my friends about this place. As Manny the manager said. ..do whatever you want we are in buisness. .hope not for a long time Emanuel, you need serious training in customer service. I do understand policies but you should advertise that before customers buy the tickets so they are aware of what waiting inside instead of luring them inside and then hit them with extra $$$ , What a ruined experience that was a potential for lots of fun. GO ANYWHERE ELSE, YOU WILL HAVE BETTER, CHEAPER EXPERIENCE .
