I went here for my birthday my experience wasnt that great. I asked for a "Carne Asada" (steak) with corn tortillas. Later the chef forgot my tortillas so I had to ask the waitress for them; then the cook gave me really greasy tortillas plus there were stuck in pairs ( so I figured out that the chef gave me tortillas that were meant for tacos because he was so lazy to heat my tortillas one by one). Since it was my birthday I stayed in a positive mind and just told myself that maybe just maybe the chef was being nice, probably he didnt want me to gain weight so thats why he gave me greasy tortillas so I wouldnt eat them. :P I will give it a 3 star because I liked most of my plate, I love the salsa bar and because my husband liked his Hawaiian torta. But they need to improve, they are in a great location so everything must be improved from the chefs (training) to the waitresses (training) and the painting of the place.

This is the best Mexican food in the midwest, period. From burritos to tortas, nachos to tamales, tostadas to carnitas, this place has it all. They also have a killer salsa bar where no salsa ever tastes same, so you know that is is made fresh. The salsa verde is to die for, and they make a smokey chipotle that you would leave your family for. The chicken is cooked to perfection, as is the steak. Tacos al pastor, forgettaboutit; they invented it, a picture of this dish is next to the definition in the dictionary, and I don not go a week without downing a trio of the best al pastor this side of the Mississippi. Don not forget service.. it is above a beyond; fast, polite and leget with a capital L. As a matter of fact, I am heading there in about 20 min.. Holler!

On a great day, this place is decent. Only reason Ill get something from here is because someone is treating and I keep telling myself maybe itll be better this time. I try to get something new each time but there hasnt been a time when I didnt spit SOMETHING out. Which Ive realized now its their so called steak. Ive been to over a hundred different Mexican restaurants in my life time. Never have I seen or tasted meat like the kind they serve. Just doesnt look and taste right. But Ill give them 2 stars on the count of the nice salsa bar and very friendly staff (minus this one very rude husky man that I havent seen in there for some time now which would explain a lot).

The only thing I could think of to say that would give them any kind of gratification as the word blah! Or yuck!! The front door of the place was so worn out from peoples hand oils touching it, so disgusting! Boring food no taste I think if we went to Taco Bell instead we would have got a better flavored meal!! Not sure how or why this place is still in business? I mean the salsa bar sucked!! Theres money Ill never get back! Thanks taco grill! And it still looks like Long John Silvers I dont think its been painted since then the place is just dirty! What a rip off!!! Ill be surprised if Im not up at 4 in the morning throwing up that disgusting meal?

This place is awesome, its pretty reasonable (although maybe a bit higher than your general "burrito stand",) The salsa bar is awesome. They have all these fresh salsas ranging from mild to XXX. Their Milanesa torta is so good. I guess one thing i didnt like is that every thing is ala carte. But the Tortas and Burritos are HUGE. I usually stick with Milanesa or Carne Asada but my friend said the Carnitas there were amazing. Good place!

I went to all the Burrito places in town with good reviews. This was the ONLY place to serve WARM chips and seasoned. Love that. Burrito is HUGE ! I have tried all the meats and liked all of them. Served very fast and 2 of out 3 lady cashiers look happy ( LOL ) The Salsa is the BOMB but will not give you a cup to take home for left overs (2 dollarish for 2 pretty big cups) Try this place out at normal hours and you wont be disappointed

The good: Salsa bar Good location Large portions OK tasting food The bad: Salsa bar needs to have some new salsas, same stuff every time. Staff needs to be trained better (although staff is probably related to owner) The restaurant needs a good scrubbing/painting/remodel. Its not ok if the door to the restaurant has the same greasy sticky hand marks. Its not ok if the bathroom is gross, its not ok if the floors look dirty.

This place is nothing short of amazing. Their food is phenomenal and will leave you 100% satisfied. They have a wide variety of sauces as well as those who seek the heat with a delicious zap to their tastebuds. I have yet to try everything on the menu, but I will eventually. So far my #1 choice is the chicken borrito... you wont regret it. Definitely give this place a try for some authentic Mexican food!

Burrito was so bad I threw it out, it was not the flavor of the food that part was standard. It was the quality of the meat. The salsa bar that everyone said was impressive was just an area with different sauces. Hmmmm ok. To anyone going there. ... Be honest with yourself and post a review based on price, service and food. Using this criteria I will be surprised if it gets more than two stars.

Letti (the waitress and jack-of-all-trades) deserves some recognition! She is the only reason (and the food) my co-workers visit this restaurant every week! The food is not the best I have ever had, in fact, sometimes it is inconsistent, but I truely enjoy seeing her smiling face, and her angelic attitude! She is truely a gem and makes the restaurant one of a kind. Thank you Taco Grill!

Love this place, always fresh, excellent selection of salsas from mild to as hot as you want. They have an excellent selection of tacos prepared from Al Carbon, to De Caraites to Al Pastor. Tortas are great and the Tamales are even better. Casual eat in where you can get chips and enjoy all of the salsas or take it all to go. Ive never been disappointed.

Reasonably new to the area. Stopped in to sit down but once we were inside decided not too. Place is not only small but hardly any room to maneuver. Ordered a burritto with ground beef but they didnt make ground beef??? Not sure how a mexican restaurant makes a flavorless burritto. Super bland, didnt finish it, threw it out. Super disappointing.

This place is great and I would recommend it to anybody! The salsa is great, the medium orange creamy one being my favorite! But the food is to die for, the steak is tender and delicious but if you like Al Pastor (Pork & Pineapple) you will be in heaven!!! Portions are large and the price is inline. THIS IS A MUST TRY!!!
