This place is always so hit or miss. Drinks took FOREVER, the patio tables had not been cleared off. Seems to always be under staffed and the food is decent. It took 10min for my limes for my food and I had to walk up to the bar to get them myself plus the water I was waiting for. I had to cancel my margarita because it took way too long. Service was awful. I want to like the this place but I cant. I will never come back here again. Ive tried too many times and it is awful.

This was as far from the border as you could go. This was nothing like true mexican. I ordered a burrito and did not even get rice and beans for the side. We also had to ask to get refills mutiple times from different waiters because once out waiter took our order she never came again until I had to waive her down to ask for a bill. This is also very expensive for a typical mexican place. Ended up paying $40 for two people when I am used to spending around $25.

I will never recommend this restraunt to anyone. This spilled stuff all over my grandfather. The food was undercooked and cold. It had almost no flavor at all. It was all just horrible. The service was very slow and messy. The tasted like it came out of a can. We had gotten an appetizer that was very messy. So we asked for some plates. By the time we got the plates we had already gotten our main dishes. This is one of the worst experiences we have ever had.

Not for vegetarians at all. They have a vegetarian menu and it was 1 page and 60% fish... As for this specific location. We were seated at the bar area without being asked. Our food was luke warm as well.The server / bartender was slow on service. For the first time ever I complained about the quality of the food. She said she was going to tell corporate, and did nothing for our bill. I will never go back.

On the Border is a Mexican cantina chain. They offer typical Mexican fair that is good. I do enjoy the Chicken Tortilla soup. This soup comes with strips of chicken cooked in a broth with rice and veggies. It comes topped with tortilla strips, cheese and avacados. Dont forget to add some sour cream and salsa for a delicious warm soup. Staff is friendly and inviting. Not a bad place for mexican food.

Dont go here looking for authetic mexican food. This is a chain tex mex joint-resembling a Fridays or Chilis. Good food, good prices, good atmosphere, and most of the time I also had good service. So far I havent been disappointed. This is the only place ive found since I moved out of texas that serves their chicken enchilladas with a sour cream sauce, very good, but apparently rare in this area.

The worst "Mexican" food place I have ever ate...order guacamole n chips and they put a avocado on a plate n stepped on it n gave it to me(seriously) i order empanadas I should have kept them n sent them to a lab I swear it was dog food...only reason this gets a 1 star is because the modelo was good n cold and the chips n salsa...run from this border fast very fast

Ive been to this location before though not in a while. I ordered online, but didnt get exactly what I wanted. I requested chicken emanadas and a beef taco, but got all beef (empanadas and taco). But, still tasted good. Order was ready when it was supposed to be.

Horrible experience. Not allowed to have a beverage on the deck with my dog. No one there, have been there before and now the Manager says no. Will never go again, their Mexican food is horrible anyway. Probably better off.

Third class staff. Does not do anything. This is not trained staff with high attitude. They see you like a slave. Made you wait for 3 hours after you order food. I would go to any other place but not here..
