I visited this restaurant on 3-4-17, and was immediately apparent to me that this is another Greek restaurant, not the original owners at all. The original restaurant was a charming little place, a tad pricey, but the food was on the order of Walker Brothers. The restaurant now has been remodeled with the exposed pipes in the ceiling and a Mediterranean look. I ordered the cheese blintzes, and my husband had the biscuits and gravy. I am half-Jewish, and have eaten the authentic blintzes many times. These were more like Swedish pancakes with a sweet, creamy sauce, and were overloaded with a raspberry sauce. My husband will eat anything, so he had no complaints. But the biscuits were flat and his potatoes were nearly burnt. All I can say is beware when you read all the positive reviews, they are probably old and for the first restaurant. I believe Greeks should stick to what they know. If they choose to serve an item like blintzes, it is incumbent upon the chef or cook to learn to make them properly. I would not recommend this restaurant.

Nice corner location and a cute simple to remember name. Wait staff is super nice and well dressed, also talk about the food as if they really do love it. So i had the biscuits and gravy. Definitely a dish that most places do not put attention to. Well i really enjoyed it here. The gravy was super creamy and had a great flavor!! I would have liked to have larger chunks of meat but thats just me. Next the red potatoes.... so this was the one that could use a little work. they over boiled them:(. Not bad but could have been a little better. Little more butter or some cracked pepper... just not magical Ok. The best part!!!! The cornbeef hash. Holly molly was this good! Now i have been eating CB for over 30yrs and i make it myself a few times a year. This was the BEST i have ever had. Get it well with a over easy egg ontop. Yum yum!!! I love going out for breakfast. My boyfriend and I went in for breakfast this past weekend and are sad to say we will never go back. Weve been there a total of three times, the food and the service are nothing above mediocre. Unfortunately this last visit we both ended up getting sick. At first I thought it was just me, being 5 months pregnant and having a sensitive stomach. Until my boyfriend also complained of stomach pains and then continued to be very sick throughout the rest of the day. This was our only meal of the day before getting sick. We by no means are looking for the restaurant to refund us or even apologize but instead just be cautious and use fresh ingredients. (Which by tasting the food, we could tell they do not use ) My boyfriend also happened to be a chef for years and was so dissatisfied with the food.

Live across the street and been here at least 30 times, Ive just had my worst experience today. The new waitress is horrible. She took 10 mins to come say hello after we sat down and another 10 to come around take orders. She did never check on us even once during the whole time were eating. I could understand all above since they were really busy, until she put the check on our table while we still had half food in the plate without asking. To me its a sign of wanting us to get out as soon as possible and its kind of rude. Weve only been there for less than 40 minutes at that moment so theres no reason to do that unless she wanted us leave to make space for other guests. I will not put the name of that waitress here but I wish a manager could see this and do some improvement. I do like the food.

Went there yesterday with the boyfriend around 7AM. The service was fantastic, very friendly server. I also loved the ambiance and how comfy the little cafe was. Giving 3 stars though because bf & I both got painful diarrhea after our meal which we are pretty sure was caused by the sausage because its the only thing we ate in common. He also complained his waffle was dry (he ordered waffles with with chicken/gravy). Id also like to suggest some more creative drinks to the menu since it is a cafe. Maybe they have them and I just didnt find the menu cuz I was tired but in general it would be great for them to have more options.

I cant say enough great things about Jellys cafe. We were so excited when we saw it was opening up near our house and it has far exceeded our expectations. The food is always consistent, fresh and wonderful, the staff is beyond accomodating and I love the atmosphere of a small confortable restaurant. On top of that, their owner Billy just catered my sons birthday party and the food was amazing. He delivered it to the party and Ive never had more complements on food at a party. Try Jellys and support a local gem!

Tried to serve me an order of corned beef hash that was accidentally made earlier and sitting for who knows how long. Then as they bring what was likely the same plate 5 min later, she changes the specials menu (instead of waiting until I leave) with stuff that I might have ordered had I known about it. What I ate was mediocre at best. Rude and unprofessional. Screw this place. Glad I left no tip, but heres one, try not to suck so much.

Good food. Ive been there several times now. The steak wasnt that good, and neither was the biscuits and gravy, but their omelettes and skillets are very good. Their jelly is amazing the prefect amount of sweet, definitely try the stuffed French toasts. The busboys are more attentive and better at bringing you stuff like honey or cream or syrup than the waitresses which have a tendency of forgetting.

Best breakfast/brunch meals! We have been to dozens of diners in the area and this one is by far our favorite! Excellent customer service. Pleasant, polite, and friendly. I asked for Tzatziki sauce for my Greek skillet, they said they dont carry that and said theyll see what they can do. Five minutes later, the owner made it from scratch! That says a lot about this place.

Beignet....yes, please! Nice atmosphere, helpful wait staff and a delicious menu make Jelly Cafe a new favorite. The green and white omelet with egg whites and fresh (really) veggies was fantastic. The side of red potatoes, with jackets on, were excellent. Oh, and did I mention the beignets? Have one with jelly of course.

I went with my friends today for breakfast, we had the worst served ever .one of my friends ordered the breakfast burrito that supposed to be comes with chorizo and we asked the waitress and she said I cant do anything about it you already took a bite of it , the worst respond ( answer) I heard in my life from the server.

Good food and an awesome wait staff. Every table gets a a little dish filled with fresh made jam that changes depending on when you go. The food is always good and well priced. I come here because you can get great breakfast food without the typical old and stuffy breakfast joint vibe.
