I USE TO LOVE THIS PLACE AND EAT HERE TWICE A WEEK WITH MY LADY UNTIL TODAY, I WAS REALLY SHOCKED @ THE EMPLOYEE ACTIONS: I entered the restaurant at June 1, 2011 @ 9:01 am and asked if I could have a submarine sandwich prepared for my fiancée and I. The employee said yes and began to make my sandwich, but then I asked if he could use wheat bread instead of the regular white bread. He said ok angrily and began to look for the bread while behind the counter. He couldn’t find the bread behind the counter because it was not there, in fact it was located in the door entrance area where it seems a delivery truck had left it. So the employee came from behind the counter and through a door separating him from the outer dine-in area (while wearing the gloves he initially put on to make my sandwich) to retrieve the bread that was sitting in the entrance area of the restaurant. Throughout this process he touched a lot of different things and areas all the while wearing the same gloves he was about to begin making my sandwich with earlier. He retrieved the bread and went back behind the counter opened it up (yuck) and place his hands on the bread (disgusting) and was about to make our sandwiches. I said no, could you please use a new fresh pair of gloves that hasn’t touched germs. He responded no and said, “I do this all the time this way.” I proceeded to tell that him that if he didn’t change his gloves that I did not want the sandwich and asked to see the manager. He said back to me loudly, “You want the sandwich or not.” I told him that I would be calling the owner and also the health department, he said so what. I called the owner and he acted like it never happened and that I was making things up, so here I am. I don’t want anyone to get sick at this place. I’ve been going here for a few years but not any more, I can’t believe so many people I’ve tuned on to this place could possibly get sick because of employees like the one I encountered today

I love this Mr. Submarine! Ive gone to a handful of others, but none compare. I get the regular ham and have a special order that they always get right. Its such a great value for the buck. Would totally recommend and praise Mr. submarine!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this Mr. Submarine. We go here quite often for lunch from work. There is a closer Mr Sub but its not as good or friendly as this one.

It wasnt bad, but it wasnt good. In my opinion, Subway is better than this. If you want good subs, just go down the street to Submarine Port.
