The food is good the service is awful . . . this is guy is reverse racist. They are nice to everyone accept asians. Get this how does make any sense, he hates his own kind and treats his own people like second class customers . . . as if he is doing a favor for them by accepting their business. I give this guy business all the time and he treats me like a red-headed step child. The last time he chided me for not using his menu term "large deluxe" and rather saying largest platter you have for messing up by order by giving me his medium size platter which know as a "large". Get this his sizing for platters are "Medium" for small, "large" for medium, and "large deluxe" for large. Well EXCUUUUUSE ME for not having menu handy and ordering "largest platter" you have. What an a--hole and his young cashier the tall young asian guy is not much better.

I love their food! I usually get the sashimi rice or katsudon but I have gotten the occasional sushi roll. All the food is delicious and they even have free tea for dine in, but its always way too hot to drink right away so be careful. The only thing I dont care for is the pickled ginger on the katsudon (easily taken off) and the small seating area, so when its crowded theres no where to eat with friends.

If you are seeking some good sushi and Korean food at reasonable price without costing arms and legs, you got to try this place. Dont expect any fancy dining experience since this place is set up more for carry-out service and quick bite dining in. However, the food is excellent and the chef is good and experienced. Sushi is good and the spice tuna maki or hand roll is exceptionally good.

Very good portions with the quality of the sushi and sashimi being really fresh. The rice quality and texture of each sushi is well-balanced. Prices are reasonable too! The interior of the restaurant is cozy and relaxing. The atmosphere allows you to casually enjoy your time with friends and family while having some epic dishes. Will definitely come back again when around the area. ^_^

For starters the only reason why I give this 4 stars is because I didnt dine in I got carry out instead . I ordered 4 rolls and appetizer of goyza. The food turned out to be very fresh and tasty for a reasonable and cheap price. Next time I will dine in but for anyone in the area try this place out you will not be disappointed!

The food here is always fresh and tastes pretty good and the prices are reasonable. We usually get some Korean dishes. The place is small so we usually order take-out which is more convenient for us anyhow. The customer service is just medium, not great but they arent rude. Overall, a great place to eat at a good price!

Tanaka is one of my favorite places to stop for Sushi lunch. It is always busy, which is a sign of the quality of food! Good prices, easy in-and-out for lunch and reasonable wait for sushi. Other places cannot accomodate a working lunch timeline in the area, so this is a go-to for me often:) Miami roll is my favorite

The sushi was horrible. We made special plans to come for the sushi. The soup was cold and the sushi was warm. It wasnt edible. Even when the manager came over and I explained the problem, the only solution he offered was a coupon on our next visit. Really? Why would I want a coupon to come back?

This place is bland! They dont have hot tea, no miso, no edamame...and if packed, only seats about...20 people. I would not recommend for dinner. Its more of a "fast food" sushi joint. We got 4 rolls, paid $50+. We were not impressed by the salty & similar rolls. Overall, we wont be back.

This sushi is great. The fish is fresh and the rice is sweet. We love the price. Its a steal. We go there randomly and on special occasions. One of the best things is the tanaka box. You get great food and great price. The place is small so its better if you grab to go.

I eat here once or twice a week, food is very affordable! I love the spicy pork bulgogi, hot stone bibimbap and the cheese chicken teriyaki! The sashimi bowl is great too, for $11 or 12 it has A LOT of sashimi and comes with a soup! Totally worth it! Yummy!

Sushi is good there. I like spicy salmon, tanaka roll, red dragon. On the other hand Ramen soups are plain. My husband asked if they can make his soup spicy and they said no.
