Hello to all an please let me start off by saying i am not Korean but grew up with an around many Koreans since child hood. after growing up with them pointing out the finer styles an grades of Korean quazen i would say i know pretty well the good Korean food from the Bad. iv been to Many Korean BBQ Restaurants from all over the united states over the years an this Restaurant is indeed one of the the worst iv ever been to. i took my girl here after she recommend it me she wanted to try an new place "her idea". we both ordered the bbq buffet from this we selected the kalbi an thee bulgogi. before the main two dishs came they brought out the panchan an let me say WoW this was Sad all the small bowls were at least half the amount you would normally be served in any normal Korean restaurant. the kaktugi bowl had 4 qubes of radish which were drenched in the bottom of the jars thick kimchi fermenting sauce i tried a piece an i was taken back this was very beyond rotten kaktugi like not edible i had to stop my self from spitting it back out. i had to drink a good amount of water before i moved on an then tried the kimchi this was not as bad but was not far off from the kaktugi. then the moment of truth came both plates were set down as i looked at them my jaw almost dropped the meat was not rare red they both were a darker brown color not your typical color from the meat being marinated it was the call sign of old near gone bad meat. i looked at my girl an the first words out of her mouth were im sorry this is not cool or right in any way. i tried to speak with the waitress about the meat and the status in which it was in but this had no affect what so ever we had to bite down an take the hit of are losses we tried a little bit of both an it was no good the meat had hardly any flavor meaning it wassnt marinated much at all then why was the meat so brown in color an shade NOT GOOD an now knowing for a fact it was on the brink of going bad just made it that much worse. soon after that i just said to hell with this im not letting us get sick an asked for the check the lady looked at me an asked if there was anything else an i said no being that i already tried to reason with her an that had no baring on her trying to fix the situation she then went an brought me the check. she then tried to explain since we only ordered two plates normally in that case they would only charge for one bbq buffet she continues to explain if one person orders the buffet they are allowed to share two plates max with the whole table an since we only ordered two plates worth that counts as one order of the Korean buffet not two. at this moment i thought she was going to try an rectify the situation which made me feel at least a tad bit better an just then she says the next time you come just order one bbq buffet an you wont be charged as much ok thank you for coming please come back again soon. right then i say to her let me make sure i understand you correctly so your telling me after that whole speech you gave us im still being charged for two bbq buffets an next time if i do come back i should only order one bbq buffet am i right an she says yes thank you and goodbye. normally if i go to a Korean bbq restaurant i tend to go with my Korean friends maybe this is why iv never ran into anything even close to this complication before but honestly iv gone to plenty of them without my Korean friends an have never been treated in this manner or served such a low grade standard of food before perhaps its because im not Korean an they thought i wouldnt know the difference in standard between a fresh batch of Korean food an the about to go vad an expire leftovers we got. you decide ? who knows perhaps i was just unlucky an got there on that restaurants worst business day ever. i do hope my review here helps others

Came here with a group of 20 for a special occasion. We had 3 tables reserved, 2 tables filled, and had 5 ppl and a baby seat at one. They asked us to move to a smaller table, so they can reserve the bigger table for others, we went back and fourth a little since we had 5 ppl and a baby and didnt want anyone to be uncomfortable. Finally we gave in and moved to a smaller table, which was pointless and a waste a time considering we were the only parties there. Going back to meal everyone but my sister had unlimited BBQ. My sister doesnt eat certain meat, so she decided to to get the bibimbap, she wouldnt have came if it wasnt for the special occasion. I believe the owner, dark long haired, skinny lady that isnt friendly, comes to our table and insisted my sister go sit by herself at a table because she ordered a bibimbap. Ok, first off, how can you be so rude and tell someone they are not welcomed at a table because they didnt order the BBQ? Ive been going to this place for the last 5 years, Ive came with parties that didnt even order the BBQ and was able to sit with their parties with no problems at all! We had to go back with her for a good 5 mins! She stated she wasnt allowed at the table because she didnt want her to be eating food she wasnt paying for. First off, she wasnt planning to eat the damn food which is why she ordered her own meal to begin with! Second off, how freaking cheap can you be? I brought in a party of 20!!! Brining in business for you and youre going to give me crap?? Ridiculous! Having a party of 20, with 18% gratuity they need better service! The staff was completely rude to us! Im not sure if thats just the way they talk but the waiters were just nasty and rude. No one seemed welcoming. I like the old owner and staff better, everyone was so nice and welcoming, but its sad that these people dont know what good customer service is. They just lost 20 regulars! I can see this place going out of business pretty soon!

UPDATE 2014: Under new ownership, and I will not go back. Prices went up, service is poor, flavors are bland. $12 for Soju?? I gave them three chances, but it was a fail every time. Even though I left a 20% tip on an overpriced $85 bill (for two people!), someone there committed FRAUD and added an additional $20+ to the tip line. Thankfully the credit card company gave me the money back. Poor food and service is bad enough, but these people are THIEVES. Save yourself the hassle and go to 92Town or Koreana. =========================================================== Saturday night dinner. All you can eat bulgogi, spicy chicken bulgogi, and samgypsal were very good. Charcoal added to gas fire made the meat very tasty. With 2 people maybe 8 banchan were served, most were good. Kimchi and kaktugi were young and tasty. Sesame/soy glass noodles were excellent. Banchan plates refilled for the asking. Decor is nicer than other places nearby, but nothing fancy. Beverage choices are a little thin. Will gladly be eating here again! ======================================================= Update: After a few more visits, this is my favorite place in the area. Prime kalbi is wonderful (but a little pricey), bulgogi, samgypsal, and spicy pork are very good. Banchan are tasty and plentful. Japchae is excellent! Drink choices are still very thin, but everything is good with a bottle of Chum Churum.
