The pho was OK. The meatballs were very rubbery. (Yen is better) My husband and I ordered an ex-large bowl and split it. I felt bad for splitting one item so we ordered pork and shrimp spring rolls. Both items came out together. We took one bite of the spring rolls and looked at each other. Not good. At all. The meat tasted old (pork was gray) and the shrimp was overly fishy. We didnt eat them and continued to our soup, which hit the spot. Our waitress came by at the end of our meal and asked if everything was ok. We very politely explained that the spring rolls tasted a bit off, like the meat was old. (BT food has to be BAD for us to send something back. We eat just about anything!) She apologized and then told us she thought we were looking at a piece of napkin that was stuck to the rolls. She had to wipe it because the soup spilled on the rolls. Nope, but thanks for letting us know after the fact... Anyway, we went to pay and she charged us for the rolls. My husband asked, "We have to pay for the rolls even though we didnt eat them?" waitress: "Yes, Im sorry. Do you guys hate us?" me: "No, but the rolls were bad. We are not picky but we are telling you they did not taste good." waitress: "I tasted them in the back and they tasted fine to me. They did not taste rotten." me: OK. Soooooo.... Im not one to argue over three dollars but I am to write a bad review and never return. I wasnt even going to bring up the piece of napkin being stuck to the rolls because I thought it was kind of funny (the waitress was very young and obviously didnt know serving etiquette). However, paying for crappy food is aggravating so yes, Ill point out bad service too.

Stopped by today 6/3/16 and grabbed a bowl of pho with spring rolls. I was wary after reading reviews on Google, but pleasantly surprised to find all ingredients fresh in both dishes. The spring rolls are the best I have had in town, period. I have never been a fan of the sweet dipping sauce so its important to me that all ingredients are fresh. Im sure these were rolled when I ordered them. Since I ordered the Pho to go I inspected all ingredients before putting the meal together, everything was fresh and in order. The Pho is incredible, best I have had in some time. Try to get past the handful of negative reviews here, the place wouldnt still be open if it was operating like that. Will be eating here again, a hidden gem in this part of town.

Great food, service and prices. The pho is good anytime but I especially like it when I get sick. When I am too sick to even have an appetite, theres nothing that makes me feel better than a bowl of pho from Pho 88. I havent been sick lately but I have been going more often and decided to try some of their other items on the menu. I wish Id tried their other items before. Now, as much as I love the pho, I almost never get it. There are so many other wonderful food items on the menu to choose from. Although it is just a small, what some people would call a hole in the wall restaurant, the food is absolutely the best.

I ate here recently, the food tasted ok, I had pho ga and fresh rolls. I was a little bland for pho but whatever. The surprise came a few hours later. I got very pale and faint and my body basically hit the eject button on that stuff. Luckily it was all over in a few hours but they fed me some food that was not to be eaten. Just a word of caution. I don’t typically bash restaurants, in fact I was a waiter for years, but this was my honest experience there.

The pho ga, it was awful. Too much noodle and too little chicken. Whatever chicken they had must have been frozen because it was very tough to chew. My broth was literally water. And they put cabbage in my "pho". It smelled funky as well. My sibling had noodles as well and she said it smelled like chlorine. The food does not taste appetizing at all. Lost my entire appetite after this. Definitely DO NOT recommend eating here.

Must try out their special 88 rice plate and vermicellis. Their pho is so so, average taste and flavors. What amazes me is that they plate their vegetables (beansprout, basil, parsley... ) next to the cashier where theres a lot of foot traffic. If you go there during dinner time, if youre lucky, youll see the boss lady having dinner too while watching ipad.

The service earns it two stars. Nothing else really does. Maybe fine if youve never had Vietnamese food outside of Mobile, but if you have, stay away. Echoing the earlier review that the pork tasted OLD and grey and I picked it out of the roll and ate it vegetarian style.

I love this place! I am a big fan of pho noodle soup and could eat it everyday. I love the flavors and the big portions you get for the price. My husband and i go and usually eat a filling meal for well less than $20.

Customer service was great and the food was fresh. As an individual that has a strict diet, I loved that they have a wide range of vegetables as well. Definitely a place to step outside the box and try!

Pretty decent Vietnamese restaurant.Do not recall seeing any Korean items on the menu. Items are prepared quickly, restrooms are tiny and not very clean, so go at home beforehand.

Great food and service, maybe not the BEST pho in town but certainly is delicious. Also, a huge bowl is 7 dollars so you cant go wrong here.
