Extremely disappointed. The food is worse than at Woori Jib (when cooked by the boss there, not by the Mexican "substitute-chef" who has no idea what he is doing) or at Good Fellas, which is overall the best Korean restaurant in town. Both my and my friends dishes were VERY salty and unhealthy, a ton of salt, MSG and excessive oil. Yes, we know that Korean food is not necessarily dietetic, but it CAN be extremely tasty and well-cooked without sending you to the hospital. The atmosphere is awful. The owner and the waiters are rude, they give you the impression that they dont want you there, that youre intruding on them while they have better things to do. Weve received just a tad of tea in some odd glasses and FOR 40 MINUTES we never had a tea refill and no waiter ever asked us whether everything is OK, whether we need anything else etc. Given how salty the food was, we were really thirsty. Well never go back. For those of you familiar with the British series Fawlty Towers, this is the closest experience to that one which weve ever had in Urbana-Champaign. The only place which serves food which is even worse is The Great impasta, but B-Won takes the trophy for the worst service in town.

Delicious Korean soup. I cant even remember the full name of what I had other than it was delicious with some spicy kim chee in the mix. Service can be a bit spotty at times with the owner running around like a frantic man at his childs 5 year birthday party. He does his best, and for the most part Im okay with a bit slower wait for that delicious food. Want to also get up close with the latest in high end luxury vehicles, theres always a line of them parked out in front of the restaurant. Price is very reasonable.

I took my daughter for a light meal, and we were quite suprised with the amount of food we got for the price. We paid $10.95 for an entree and we had enough food for both of us to share and brought home a large leftover meal. The food is high quality and the server was so kind to describe what each entree was made with so we could choose what my 11-yr old daughter would like. The atmosphere was prestine with new, minimalistic decor. An upscale dining experience with an affordable proce!

DO NOT GO! unless u want burnt food and to be cheated. - Appetizer was burnt at the bottom upon discovering it after having half of it, manager said they cant do anything and argued with me. Terrible, no sense of customer service, chased and hurried us to pay. Discovered a couple days later that credit card bill reflected a higher amount than what I had indicated. In the process of dispute now and seriously considering suing them.

I guess authenticity and flavor is subjective, but Im surprised to see negativity regarding the service. I was always surprised at how nice the waiters/manager were, and how eager they were to talk about and share their cuisine with us. Ive been there several time now, and have never experienced inordinately long waits or rude service.

It used to be OK, now it is the restaurant from hell. Avoid like the plague. The only thing worse than the food is the service. If you want to be embarrassed in front of your girlfriend by the extremely rude, unpleasant owner, who basically yells at you to order quickly, go ahead, enjoy.

The owner is so rude! I just wanted to help my self about soup, but he just came up and rudely said "go back to your seat!". What the heck! Its my money and food! I can do anything that I want to. DO NOT COME HERE AND WASTE MONEY HERE PLEASE. IM WARNING YOU :)

Always my first choice for Korean food in the Champaign-Urbana area. Always great service, attentive waiters and willing to accommodate the food for each individual. If the soup is too spicy they will take it back and make it more mild!!! I highly recommend.

I dont understand the negative reviews here...when I went the food was excellent, and the service was both friendly and prompt. We had to wait a bit to get our check, but it wasnt really an issue.
