Decided to mix it up and try a new spot for lunch on a Sunday. Place was crazy packed, out the door. I figured that could be a good sign but I surely dont wait in line at my usual haunts. Got inside and it went downhill quick. The place looked like a prison with white tile floors, the echo and noise was terrible like I was at a sporting event. Got a Reuben and the corned beef was so shredded up like it had been cooked by nuclear fusion. Took half home and the car smelled like dog food before I even got home. If you want to wait in line for subpar food, here you go.

Food definitely isnt anything special and i can definitely cook better at home. The thing is for me, i asked for a dinner item about 30 mins before dinner. Theres chicken breast on the lunch menu and all i wanted was the chicken save. chicken, with spinach tomatoes and feta cheese on top. i was told i could not have it, like they dont have the ingredients back there or something. they deffinetally could have made it so that was some bullshit

Honestly if there was an option for zero stars, Id use it. I ordered a plate of crepes with strawberry compote and they were the worst crepes I have ever had. They were basically thin omelettes and the strawberry compote was far too sweet. Ive never been more disappointed in Family Palace. This was my childhood restaurant and used to be my favorite place to eat. I wont be back.

I ate here for dinner the food was average and the service was average too. They are trying to be fancy, but at the same time they let people in who dress like slobs to dine. I was more upset with the poor selection of drink menu. I get why slobs goto this place, this restaurant use to be your below average diner. They need to enforce a collar shirt policy at least.

Awesome bfast/lunch. Good for families groups or singles. They try to accommodate every patron in a very timely manner, not many places do that anymore. Some other places let you wait and wait and wait. At family palace, they open other seating just to get people seated and taken care of, excellent service.

I lived in Harwood Hts for 13 years and never visited this place. We just decided to go here recently and it was quite good. Fast seating, fast service and a good selection of food. I especially liked the choices for my 2 year, she got chicken fingers with cheese sticks and a fruit cup. Delicious

A large menu with plenty of variety, but some items are a little pricey. I would describe it as an upscale-ish but still casual Greek diner style restaurant. Service is friendly and attentive. Been to it a couple times since moving to the area ~6 months ago.

This is am amazing family run restaurant. The prices are reasonable, and we have been coming to this place for the last 5 years. Its a good Neighborhood restaurant, and the owners are right there working along side of the staff. Worth trying out!

This was my second visit to the remodeled restaurant. Food was greasy and wasnt hot.The homemade corned beef hash translates into left over corned beef. It was clean and the staff was pleasant. I probably will not return.
