Just got back from this place. Been there a number of times before with my family for breakfast. Mainly have gone for breakfast because its large and you can always get in - plus breakfast food is usually hard to screw up. Food is usually okay at best, though today it was quite poor. Service is usually fairly good, though it was bad today as well. My wife had a salad plate, and the plate was hot - which makes a salad pretty unappealing. I ordered my hash browns "burnt". The waitress didnt bother to write it down, and sure enough the hash browns were underdone. I sent them back, and she came back within 30 seconds (which was suspicious) with hash browns that looked more well-done than the original batch. They tasted like theyd been sitting in grease for quite a long time - not sure if they just threw my original hash browns into a deep fryer for a few seconds or if they had been sitting on a greasy grill for awhile. My daughter ordered coffee, and was never offered a refill. When I went to pay, the woman (owner?) never asked me if everything was okay. (Even at crappy restaurants, they ask that question.) I mentioned to her that shed not asked me if everything was okay, and she said, "Are you the guy with the problem with the hash browns?" It was apparent from her tone that she considered the problem to be my issue, not hers. I was prepared to give her more feedback about my other observations, but she was clearly not interested and just said, "Sometimes things happen." I was taken aback by her rudeness and attitude. No, "Im sorry sir", and clearly no attempt to try to make amends for my bad experience. It appears from an earlier review as well as my experience that the owners of this place really dont care about their clientele, and are inclined to be defensive at best and argumentative at worst when a customer has a complaint. There are many other options in the area (Bakers Square is right next door; IHOP and Dennys are down the block) where you can get a better meal and better service for roughly the same money. Why put up with this place and these people? I never will again.

The food was decent, the server was wonderful! She knew we were trying to make a 7 o"clock curtain so she was prompt and attentive. My daughter did not like her meal, the server knew we were on a time schedule so she brought the bill and told me to tell them up front. And thats where the good review ends. When I told the owner what had happened, he accused me of lying, asked why I didnt tell my server then proceeded to call me all kinds of names in front of my five year old daughter. I tried to reason and tell him the server said to let them know. He rolled his eyes at me and called me a dumb B**ch. Great customer service. I said that no one was going to take that nonsense and this would be posted everywhere. He tossed my debit card and receipt at me and told me to get the f**k out. I tore up both copies of my receipt and said I would call my bank to stop payment as he did not deserve any of my money. (Of course, I wont but I was shocked to be treated so horribly.) I am so glad I left the server cash as her tip. Yeah, we will not be eating there ever again nor would I recommend it to anyone else.

Waitress was very rude. Acted like we were bothering her. Dont know her name but she had short dark hair and an Irish accent. I ordered a rueben with no sauerkraut and she said so you want a corned beef sandwich. Was supposed to be grilled and with cheese. What she brought me was corned beef on rye bread not grilled and no cheese. My fried order eggs and bacon and toast. She brought the eggs and bacon but no toast. As she walked past he asked for his toast and she ignored him and went to talk to two ladies at another table. It was casual talk they werent placing an order. My friend asked for his toast again as his eggs were getting cold. She brought the toast tossed them on the table and with no apologies walked away. Never offered refills on drinks never asked if everything was ok. When my friend complained to the lady at the register. The lady at the register could care less. I will never set foot in this place again.

Southfork is the Best food restaurant. I only go in the weekend, and sometime when my pastor want to talk. my wife favorite is the Pork Shop platter in the evening, and the Philly cheese, sandwich plater with her favorite cottage fries in the afternoon

one of the worst restaurants me and my friends could step in. the waitress was very rude and treated us like some kind of animals. she messed up our order THREE times. the restaurant is dirty and outdated. i would never come here ever again...

It was pretty good. I only went here one time for breakfast and it wasnt bad. My great grandpa used to go here several days a week. He said he really liked it, and he never seemed to have a problem with his meals.

This place used to be really great, but after the remodel the chairs are very uncomfortable, it takes forever for your food to arrive, and when it finally does its not all that great, just average fare at best.

Great food. Friendly. Beautiful interior. But management, fix your damn sign already. You invest all this $$$ into the inside of your building, but leave the outside poorly maintained.

You get a LOT of food for next to nothing and it is VERY tasty! It took about 20-30 minutes after we ordered to get our food and there were only 3 other tables who had their food.
