Wow, Stunningly bad. Everything about the restaurant was fine, decent decor, okay staff, but the food, UGH. Run dont walk away from this nightmare. I thought I could be safe with calimari... Cut up some squid... bread it and fry it, right... Boy was I wrong! Why cant I rate food lower than a zero here, minus 2. They must have searched high and low for the worlds smallest squids, SERIOUSLY, and NO tentacles, WTF I wanted real seafood, not seefood? Over cooked, tough, small, no lemon, had to ask for cocktail sauce, which was luke warm, not Ice cold like its supposed to be... Do youself a HUGE favor, drive the extra distance to Wadsworth and go to the SHANTY on Rt. 41. There is a reason Dead Lobster does not get reviewed on the food network and the Shanty does. DLs food is awful, I want to hurl. GO TO THE SHANTY, I will (next time I can afford to go out)

I called and made a reservation for my boss for a company celebration for 17 to 19 people i set the time at 7pm just like i was asked to do i talked to the manager and he let me know to tell my boss to get there befor 7:15 if not the tables will be used for other customers my boss got there at 6:45 with everyone and DIDNT GET SEATED TILL AROUND 8:30 witch is bullshit if i made a reservation that morning for 7pm not 830 or 9..........7pm Pathetic services pathetic manager If ur making a resevation please make back up plans because they will waist ur time and not give u a answer to y ur not seated yet Lost the sevice of all 18 people that went And when we let other buisness owners know about the experience there....trust me they will think twice I recommend Olive garden

My boyfriend and I wanted a nice dinner out and decided to come to Red Lobster. We were seated right away. I didnt expect much after we had to wait quite a while for our server to come over to us. However, Kyle M. was one of the most attentive and kind waiters we have ever had. Never had to wait for a refill of our drinks. All our food came out at literally the same time. He gave us some time to have a bit of it all and enjoy it before asking if everything was to our liking. He apologized for it coming out so quickly..but really, what could he have done? He offered us fresh biscuits to take home instead of the leftover that we planned on. Kyle made a good date night even better.

TERRIBLE!!!! If I could give this place negative stars I would. For starters, we got there as about 10 cops were taking a server out in handcuffs. Took 20 minutes for biscuits and drinks to be brought to the table (mind you the place is empty). Finally got out entrees. All of our food was cold. Ordered potato soup, the ultimate feast, and shrimp trio. The lobster tail was so old and cold it looked like shredded cheese. The crab legs looked as though they came from a dollar store. The shrimp was ice cold and rubbery. May I need to say anymore.

Ive been sitting here for an HOUR. I wanted to take my wife out on a nice date and we had looked forward to this all week. We ordered the bottomless shrimp and have yet to seen any food beyond a salad. Our server walked by to take our salad plates and left our drinks empty and never asked how we where doing. Other tables around us have been served there food and theyve all been seated after us. Im so very disappointed and will not be returning after this.

Was there for a birthday, and service was terrible. The table next to us was asked if they were there for any special occasion, they said yes, got great service. I had to flag down waitress for a refill on water several times. Said multiple times we were there for a birthday and we were ignored. Table next to us had same wait staff and they were treated so much better. Very frustrated.

I would never go back to this restaurant. We waited for a hour then asked or waiter ever or food was she said it will be 15 after that was gone asked the assistant manager told me another 15 after that I asked the manger she saidit would be another 10-15 we finally had enough and left. To make it worse it was my mothers 50th birthday! If I could I would give it a zero Its was horrible!

I usually give bad reviews for north Chicago restaurants this red lobster was different I honestly havent had such good service and food since florida. The wood grilled burger was awesome cooked perfectly absolutely delicious. The biscuits were perfect the fries were fresh and the server was awesome the atmosphere was great thank you to our server Sean k... I hope you get a raise!!!

We have ordered Seafood ,lobster, shrimps and combination .. seafood plate:-). Food came over cooked, dry and cold. Waitress was terrible she messed up the orders . the place where were sitting was very the dark. We were not able to read the menu. Finally we paid $225 dollars for dry food. I will never come to this restaurant again.

My dish was horrible. I called the store to complain. Wait staff left me on hold for 12 mins. I called back and the manager on duty that day gave me many excuses and wanting to augue before offering a refund. Its been a week,had to tall to a new manager still no results or refund. BEWARE OF THIS POORLY STAFFED RESTAURANT.

The food was decent. But it got cold extremely fast.. I ate a few fries and waited a moment thinking the food was steaming hot and I go to eat my crab and lobster and it was already room temp. Plus the shrimp tasted a little old and rubbery..

The bad thing about reveiws is people usually only write them when it was bad!.... It was completely awesome not one complaint! Except they messed up n gave us an extra appetizer! Oh darn! I would definitely come back here! Lover it!

Terrible service. 20min with no greeting of any kind after seated by the host. 40min with no biscuits or refill. Left at 45min hungry. Oh... a salad that was a side was served as we left. SAD!

Great service, and tasty food. Seafood not my favorite but my mother and fiancee loved it. Not much non sea food selection, but you dont go to a hat store and complain about the shoe selection.

Consistently good sea food, friendly wait staff, clean restaurant. Manager usually walks over and asks how the meal and service are going. Generally crowded on weekend nights.

While our waiter was great, after waiting 45 minutes for our food, we had to ask for it to be wrapped to go. When we later went to eat it, half our food was missing! Ugh!!!

they use Langostino instead of american lobster in most of their dishes.. langostino is a hermit crab. deceiving and overpriced, go somewhere else
