This place gets really busy during weekends, so plan accordingly. Super duper affordable ($3.50 mimosas is unheard of!), but I had many qualms about it. First, the good: service was incredibly friendly. We were there during a busy weekend, and our server was really working at his max (he had a lot of tables!). Food came out super quickly; we were served our entrees maybe 5-10 minutes after we ordered. The mimosas were fantastic, and so, so, so cheap. Now, the not so good: Food is hit or miss. I ordered the smoked salmon benedict, and it was pretty lukewarm (think room temp.). Taste-wise, it was just okay. One of the poached eggs already burst before it got to me, the English muffin was tough, the hollandaise was too runny, and it just wasnt a very pretty sight. (The person with me got the fried chicken and biscuit and that looked fantastic, though.) It was incredibly loud. At some point, we gave up on talking because we just couldnt hear each other. Overall, it was worth a shot, if only to see what the hype was about. We probably wont go back as there are better brunch places in the area.

Went to hutch on the day of the 3rd game of the World Series. It had some great food and great deals, but the only problem was the service. I understand that it was extremely busy especially with the game going on, but I still had a reservation for a table that never got fulfilled. So they gave my friends and a back booth seat with no view of the game, all while other people just walked in and just sat down and were still served at nice tables with good views. Then we were served by a waiter who didnt make the dinning experience that enjoyable, then afterwords asked for a bigger tip and practically said we couldnt do math. He was asking for a 26% tip, now I believe in tipping and tipping fair at around 15% but to get my tip thrown back at me and asked for more kinda was insulting. Plus there was a lot of under aged drinking going on in this place. There was no carding AT ALL. But other than these things, the place had nice food and good deals, but I would probably not go there again with the service my friends and I received.

This place was terrible. I went there with a few friends for brunch at 10am when they opened. we all order food and it was basically eggs all around that everyone got but it took a really long time for just eggs. Once the food came out they got my girlfriends order wrong and both of our scrambled eggs were cold. I just felt with it being that it took so long to get them in the first place but my gf sent hers back and they fixed her order. She also asked for crispy bacon and both mine and he bacon was so soft and floppy I was surprised it was even cooked all the way. Then my friend had sausage that was terrible as well. Once we were done eating it was taking forever for the waitress to take care of our check. At least she came back with a 10 dollar off coupon for my gf… oh wait it was an expired coupon. I guarantee I will never eat here again. I make better eggs and bacon at my house in the microwave than they did at a restaurant.

We went to Hutch for a good friends going away dinner and were excited as it newly opened. The service was great - our waiter was really attentive - and they were very in tune to our needs with wine and food, wine especially. The fries with truffle sauce were amazing - we were essentially pouring truffle butter all over our plates and asking for seconds. The flatbread was very, very subpar and I wouldnt order again - we got the BLT - and that is supposed to be their specialty. It was very small. The portions are generally petite, so we ended up having to order the California Club at the end of our meal to split because we were still hungry. Good for a group of girls, but make sure to order enough!

I have to give this place all five stars. I did not know what to expect since there was a table full of children and the bar are seemed small but it turned out to be a wonderful place to have a romantic/intimate meal with someone special. Put yourself in the waitresses hands and you will be brought something that will dance on your tongue. I really enjoyed my Meatloaf but my wife had some Gnocchi that was to die for. I would say that it is moderately priced and in a great location. Very close to a theater that has some amazing shows playing almost nightly. After I was done, I could not wait for my next trip to Europe.

This is our fave happy hour place, hands down. $1 champagne, $4 specialty cocktails and wine, and 1/2 priced apps = unbeatable deal. My friend and I can share two apps and drink a few glasses of champagne (and one or two of the specialty cocktails) for under $20. And these arent light pours--they use a good amount of liquor in the drinks and fill the champagne flutes to the top. Ive eaten dinner here once and it was pretty good; not the best steak Ive had, especially for the high price, but the rest of the food looks reasonably priced and good.

Brunch at Hutch is fantastic! The food is so good, very well priced, delicious and a good amount for what you pay! But even better than the food are their drinks. The mimosas are delicious with the white peach being the most refreshing. The spiked iced coffees are a must have as well! I recommend starting the meal off with the Nutella poppers. Nice restaurant located in one of my fav neighborhoods - Boystown; its a little squished (but I live in Dallas so Im used to too much space) with beautiful ambience. Highly recommend!

We went to the Sunday brunch at Hutch. The waiter was very attentive and did a great job. The place was pretty noisy, as it was the day of the Pride Parade. I ordered the croissant french toast, which tasted a little burnt. My husband got the avocado chicken toast, and while it was flavorful, the toast was very hard and dry. His bloody mary was awesome, though. It was $40 for the two of us, so quite a bit of money for mediocre food. All in all, I dont think well be back for brunch. Maybe well return someday for dinner.

The food was decent, but sadly took forever to get. Our waiter was quite amazing, as he did everything he could to remedy an unfortunate situation. He alone would be reason enough to come back (gave us a massive 50% discount for the trouble). The kitchen clearly didnt communicate issues with him, and it didnt help that it was crazy from 4th of July weekend. I would absolutely rate it higher if it werent for a few things that had nothing to do with our table service, which was excellent and made everything better.

My friends took me here for birthday brunch. We had to wait for about a half hr to be seated because we had a large group, but the staff was beyond nice once we were seated. they brought over complementary started that were delicious. and when they noticed it was my birthday they gave me a shot and a bottle of champagne as a birthday gift. the food was so good and the service was an A++. I will for sure be going back for more. one of the best places to brunch in Chicago.
