I havent been here for about a year. I dont remember being blown away by the food last time, and I certainly wasnt this time either. I ordered the soft shell chicken tacos with sides of rice and beans (which seemed standard for all entrées on the menu). The food arrived and while the presentation was fine, the tacos were completely tasteless—no seasoning, no love. Just shredded boiled chicken breast thrown into a double soft corn shell with some wilted iceberg lettuce and a touch of cheese. The refried beans had a burned flavor to them and the rice was average at best. The service was what really threw me for a loop, however. He started off fine, even recommended we go for the signature margarita which he said was a dollar more, but worth it— and I have to agree. While we were finishing our meals, the server approached our table (at 4:00) asking if we could close out our check because he had to get to his other job at 5. Now, Im no stranger to servers changing shifts and having to close or transfer checks, but to tell me its because you have to get to your other job seemed a little rude. I dont care what the reason, just come and tell me you are changing shifts and ask if theres anything else you can do before you close our check. Overall, a mediocre experience at best. Likely wont be back.

My wife and I had errands to run and thought Mi Casa would be good. I sit here with terrible gas and cant get to bed at 4:00am. We wanted to sit at a table by the window, but ten minutes later were asked to move near the entrance to our room because a big party wanted to sit there. We moved, but they changed their minds and the table was occupied by another couple. No problem, I thought but wasnt happy. The margarita they gave me: they put Morton salt on my 1800 margarita, came in a small glass they labeled "Grande" and charged me 9.50 for it. I asked the waitress about the size of it, but she confirmed it was a large. Wow! Plus, the drink just tasted plain awful. I wanted to send it back but didnt want to make a scene as there was a baby staring right at us. That was the high point of the evening. Half of my combination platter was half-cooked. My wifes seemed okay. After dinner, my wife and I were talking and the waitress seemed to hover around us trying to get us out the door! If this is the same guy who owns Unos and Dues then we wont be back there either. What a disappointment!

Wow. We should have listened to the lady on the patio when she warned us that this was literally the worst Mexican food shes ever eaten. We went inside anyway bc we had forgotten to make a reservation someplace else. Queso? Yes Ill take a 25 oz container full of velveeta. The salsa is hot but flavorless. Furthermore, some of the girls ordered "grande" margaritas.. I would hate to see the smaller size! Probably a shot glass bc Im not sure they make cups smaller than the ones these were served in! They were very strong... Probably to get you so drunk you cant taste (or remember!) the "food". Bugs were flying around as if there was a circus in town. The wrap on my taco ranchero tasted like paper. They refused to split our check (but definitely welcomed our money at the end). Absolutely NEVER again. Please save yourself from spending too much of your hard earned money for subpar service and food. Its not worth you bending over so they can continue to be lazy. Im going home to purge now haha

Seating: 07/18/2017 @5:00pm We were sat at a table fairly quickly but the service was delayed shortly. The staff were friendly enough so I would rate the service a 4 out of 10 Drinks: I ordered a classic margarita and it was delivered rather quickly. It came in a short glass but was two salty for my taste. I would rate the drinks a 2 out of 10 Food: I ordered the tacos racheros (steak) and the food was delivered rather quickly but it left nothing to be desired. I have had tacos that have had more flavor from a street corner. I also had my daughter and niece with me who order queso and quamole which they stated "was nasty". I would rate the food a 2 out of 10. My opinion: skip this restaurant if you are looking to experience excellent food choices or you will be disappointed unless you have a palette that does not require well seasoned food with pride and love in the recipe.

I would not recommend this place and this come from a person that likes Mexican food. Company had this catered to our office and let me tell you the one of the staff (there were only 2) but one of them was rude from the start, I asked her a few question regarding the menu and prices and with a some tone of voice that I felt like I had offended her for asking about this even though this is her job to begin with, I worked in the industry for 10 years I understand that stresses of the job, but for her to act this way before someone even eats was repulsive and bad service altogether, I decided not to even give the company a try and preferred going back to my left overs from yesterday. Beware of who you send to represent you company catering services. I asked a coworker who did get food and he had a very similar experience. Sad honestly, but shes a bad apple for sure

Would have given it half a star if it were possible. Blandest half ass Mexican food Ive had in ten years. Chimichangas my wife ordered were deep fryer hot to the touch but 50deg inside. Obviously tossed from Frozen food box into fryer. (Chimichangas are an American invention and not even real Mexican food anyways so that was a red flag saying "we sling slop to gringos".My so called "ranchero tacos" were dry overcooked beef with zero seasoning. Another in our party ordered beef enchiladas with mole sauce and got bland beef ones with zero mole but weak tasteless green sauce and cheese. Do not order the margaritas with patron tequila unless you like to drink watered down store bought mix in a 8 oz juice glass and find out on your bill they cost $20 each. Our 15 year old boy said "this is garbage" and he thinks little ceasars is good. Server was friendly so 1 star

There are a lot of negative reivews that caused us to pause on going back to Su Casa. We are glad we went back. We have eaten there a number of times over the past 4 years but have not over the past year. The food is not bland nor is the service poor. We were seated promptly and had chips, salsa and drinks in the first 10 minutes. The margeritas were good, be sure to ask your waitor for their choice. Our waiter recommended the Hunters Margaritas even though there were much more expensive ones on their menu. They were good. The food was good. My wife had the fish tacos and I have a combination meal. We were both pleased with our choices. About the ambience, its a mexican restraurant. We liked it. It is not a trendy place like many others these days. The place was busy on a Saturday afternoon and we enjoyed our visit.
