Being from the Morgan City area, I usually like going to this particular Taco Bell over others in the area. Its nice to see familiar names on the jerseys hanging on the walls and feel like Im supporting my hometown. But lately, this place has gone downhill. I will point out that the building is kept in really good condition for a fast food place, with nice furniture and TVs and its usually pretty clean. But thats about all it has going for it now. This morning on my way home from taking care of an ICU patient, I decided to give the new breakfast menu a try. I went through the drive-thru. First I was told that they dont have any biscuit tacos (which are a big part of the breakfast menu. I was told they did have some regular breakfast tacos ready, but those didnt seem appetizing to me. So I asked for an AM crunchwrap, thankfully they had those, and an orange juice to drink. I was told they dont have orange juice either, only regular fountain drinks. Not wanting to have Mountain Dew with breakfast, I decided not to get a drink at all. I pulled forward to see that another vehicle was at the window, so I pulled behind them and waited. And waited. And waited. It was at least a full 5 minutes. When it was finally my turn, the employee who opened the window wasnt the slightest bit apologetic for their lack of menu items or long wait time. As a matter of fact, she barely paid any attention to me because she was too busy laughing and joking with another employee. So I ended up sitting and waiting for several more minutes while the goofed off instead of getting my food ready. The crunchwrap itself is very good as Im sure the biscuit taco would have been had I gotten one. But the service here is going downhill. I hope it improves in the near future so that I can continue going to this place. Otherwise Ill probably just head to McDonalds down the road for a biscuit.

This location is currently inconveniencing the students that stay on campus at Louisiana State University that have to dine here due to its vicinity to the university. Today I walked to this location as usual to order from the lobby. This is usually a 15-20 minute walk from the South end of campus. However, today I could not complete an order because of a sign on the door that read "Due to scheduled maintenance and repairs, the lobby is currently closed, Please visit us in our drive thru, We apologize for any inconveniences." So as a customer, I responded by walking to the drive thru window as directed by the note. I waited for about 5-7 minutes before a male acknowledged me and stated that "I cannot service you unless you are in a car, it is our policy." I reminded the male worker that the notice on the door directed customers to the drive thru window to be serviced and that I was a student who dined there often but I did not own a car. I noticed that there was another customer sitting out by the front entrance to the lobby who was on a motorcycle eating from Taco Bell. He did not have a car either, yet he was able to complete an order and not I. A motorcycle is not nor has it ever been a car. Other workers were also in and out of the front lobby door which left me baffled as to why no customers were able to place an order to go from the lobby. If maintenance was being done, this should have been completed outside of scheduled business hours. Its very easy to tape off the area you do not want customers in so they can place an order if there are no exceptions being made for certain customers to enter the drive thru window. I had nothing of harm on my person. I was well put together and carrying a laptop bag for my school books. There should be no reason that I was not able to order after walking such a great distance.

This taco bell location is consistently subpar. I have many many examples, but I will only share three. First off, the only thing that is certain is that they will be slow. I have literally waited an hour from 6:34 to 7:34 for my meal in the drive through. If they have no wait, it is because they are out of core menu items like tortillas, beef, or nacho cheese. How can a taco bell run out of these???? One time I was hit by a car as I sat in their drive thru line. They all saw, someone came out to make sure I was okay, but then they left. They didnt offer to let me sit inside on the cold winters night nor to get me food (I hadnt ordered yet). I feel that is the least they could do for someone who was hit in their parking lot, but no they didnt. Another anecdote, is the time when I was sick and ordered four large orders of beans. Everything was fine until I returned home. When I got there I was dismayed to discover that the employees hadnt fully closed the bottom lid. My beans were everywhere in the bag, and I was left crying on the floor. This taco bell has honestly ruined my life. No, Im not being melodramatic. I am telling the truth. Dont go to this taco bell unless you want to be disappointed.

Been to this location 3 times... All 3 times, has taken over 35 min from getting in drive thru, to leaving with food. Also, 2 out of the three times they have forgotten the 2 crunchy tacos I ordered. Thankfully the second time I realized before I drive away, and then it took them around another 3 minutes to get those tacos. When at the place in drive thru where you order, we sat there for 5 min. Waiting for someone to say something, so finally we said hello, employee then said yeah what can I get you? Not sure what the issue is at this location but something is obviously not making it have smooth operations. They also clearly all seemed like they were miserable.

If you plan on going here around 11:30 PM, dont expect to get any service in the lobby that locks you out when advertises to be open until 12:00 AM. It is also an inconvenience to residents across the road that walk, in 20 degrees, to get food to only be locked out of a business that claims to keep its building open until 12:00 AM. Also lame is to call only to have the worker throw the phone down while looking at you through the windowed doors when you say youd walked there. Not saying the service should be good in a college area with idiot kids running amok, but at least keep the lobby open up to 10 minutes before closing.

Idk whats happening with them but they are getting worse and worse. Im a simple girl. I wanted dorito tacos and some soft tacos. The first time they forgot 3 of my soft tacos. I also asked for sauce and napkins my second trip since that wasnt included. I arrive home and majority of my tacos are 15% filled with only meat and cheese. I was so pissed. The cheese resembled boogers. It looked old. I saw a few familiar faces and maybe a few high schoolers working so that probably is why my food sucked. Who cant make a taco though?? Its the easiest thing in the world. They should hire some new people.
