I like this place a lot and I am very choosy when it comes to Mexican restaurants especially. Mexican food here is excellent, as good I believe as it gets in the western suburbs. Prices are reasonable, portions are generous, and the service is super extra friendly. All the dishes are reasonably priced that is key now days and also always very important to me. Portions are generous, this place is not skimpy on anything. Staff: super extra friendly its humbling. I highly recommend their quesadilla dinner---excellent eat, steak burrito is just very good, and the steak taco dinner is a must!! This place will not disappointed you it has not disappointed me thus far. I am glad my buddy told me about this place.

I have loved this place since I was a kid/teen/young adult. The owner knew me therw my pregnancy as she saw me every day. I havent been here in almost 10years, and as soon as I walked in the owner remembered me! The customer service is still amazing till this day and lots of restaurants can learn from the amazing experience and what hospitality truly means. Still my favorite Mexican spot, food still amazing...for ever a loyal customer.

La Taq is a great establishment that has been around for a while. Their success is due to consistent quality food and friendly service. They have a standard menu of a Mexican Taquiera. Their carne asada and al pastor tacos and burritos are excellent. They are reasonably priced and I have never left hungry or dissatisfied. They are among the best in the area. The owners are always very friendly and will always treat you like a regular.

Simple place no frills great fresh Mexican food. Great service. We ate in but there was good amount of carryout traffic as well. Lived near here for years and didnt know about this place, now that I have came once IwWill definitely be coming back here for quick Mexican food. THe portions are very large. I was able to squeeze out two full meals from one dinner.

I will say the staff is very friendly. The location is pleasant and prices are fair. The food is good, only had a burrito, chips, guacamole and salsa. The horchatta was really good. Nothing super special. My husband really liked the lenqua burrito and guac. I thought there was too much sour cream which made the middle of the burrito cold.

People are great but... I wouldnt consider the food great. Being latina, I wasnt impressed.. All of the salsas were too watery, chicken in mole enchiladas didnt have any flavor, the rice was ok and the beans were runny. In addition, I had to get up 3 times to ask for refills since unfortunately the staff was busy with take out orders.

La Taqueria is my favorite place to go to grab a quick burrito when Im hungry, but also to sit down and eat at. They have very nice and sweet waiting staff and their food is amazing. Every item on the menu is outstanding and anyone who has not eaten here before should A.S.A.P.

Ive been coming here for years and the authentic quality has never changed. Friendly staff and big portions. You can order ahead for carry out or sit and enjoy the meal inside. Dont be alarmed if the owner comes over and hugs you. He does it to everyone.

I loved the tampiquena! My sons burrito was gigantic. Try the one with the cheese on it. They have a rotating set of aguas frescas--the horchata was delicious. Service was attentive and friendly. Among the best Mexican food in Chicago.

Love their jumbo steak burritos, their steak tacos, the steak torta, you name it. I have yet to have a bad meal here, and the owner is insanely friendly. Expect a handshake when ordering and another handshake when leaving.
