As several people have mentioned, their cheesesticks are AMAZING!! Creamy, sweet cheese enveloped in a light puff pastry dough showered with powdered sugar....its a delectable treat that will create an addiction. I visited this bakery a couple of times for their cheesesticks. Everything in this bakery looks so good! For my next visit, Ill probably try their fresh strawberry strudels....they look heavenly. But please, try the cheesesticks!!!

Amazing pizza bread. Double chocolate mini Bundt cakes are insanely good. Chocolate cannolis are perfect. The cream cheese sticks are awesome. I havent eaten the whole store but I suspect its all top notch. To be very clear, NO CREDIT OR DEBIT CARDS ARE ACCEPTED. CASH AND CHECK ONLY. Go there and youll love it. Period.

I live in the far northwest suburbs, but my grandparents lived in Elmwood Park for years. We visited House of Cakes often., I now place an order early in the AM if I know I am going downtown for any reason. Best strudel and cheese sticks. Lots of cheese, light flaky crusts. Basically a slice of heaven!

I ordered a birthday cake for my granddaughter with a screened image of the Strawberry Shortcake Girl. The cake was beautiful in its presentation and delicious. Everyone was very pleased and wanted the name and address of the bakery. The cake exceeded my expectations.

Was looking for some bakery treats here in Chicago and found this place. The sponge cake and apple squares I bought were outstanding. They were fresh and not stale, seeing it was late in the day. I would recommend this bakery for its pastry.

I went there to order a wedding cake, but the staff could did anything to help me. I was expecting someone could clarify my doubts, but I guess the employees are not training to help customers. On the order hand the pizza we bought was ok
