Cash only. Which I didnt know so didnt have any cash on me. (No sign, no nothing) So I had to look for ATM all around gas station/ liquar store and more. (They had ATM but out if service and no cash back) I found one place call Harvestime Food near there and used their ATM to get some cash. I came back to pay for the meal and gave her small amount of tip (didnt want to give her tip regularly) but She asked more tip. (Why does all Korean Restaurants do that? Seriously). And food wasnt best. I ordered two Sul Long Tang and one Soo Yuk(briscket and tongue). Soo Yuk was same as Sul Long Tang with less soup and more meat. I thought the meat would be more thicker (which normally does) but it was same as meats in Sul Long Tang. No reason to order separate dish. Will I return? I dont think so. I know better place called To Sok Chon. Food basically same but only difference is Han Bat is beef, To Sok Chon is pork. Better service, better taste, better food. Price To Sok Chon is about a dollar or two more expensive but reasonable. You guys should go there and try Soon Dae Gook Bob or DoeGiGookBob. Much better

Cash Only Place. ATM in the restaurant. 소문만 듣고 가봤는데 도가니 설렁탕에는 only 도가니만 나오네요. 그래도 살코기랑 같이 섞여나오는줄 알았는데... 그래도 맛있게 먹었습니다.

Best staple Korean soup restaurant on the north side. Theyre menu only consists of Korean beef bone soup with different meats and it is the most consistent meal. I have never had a bad bowl of soup with sides and unlimited rice. Bang for your buck is an understatement.

CASH ONLY. The workers were very friendly, delicious kimchi. Its authentic Korean style restaurant, meaning they specialize and pretty much serve only one thing. Han Bat specializes in soups, and thats all youll find here.

Good place for Sulungtang, which is a broth based soup with different cuts of meat. Very small menu, since they specialize in the soup dish. Dont go there expecting Korean BBQ!

Since they reopened last year, Ive gone here three times in the past two months. Their broth always fills the spot on the cold Chicago nights. Its a small mom and pop shop.

If you have a hangover, there is no question as to what you should do. Go eat a han bat suh-lung-tang. Absolutely one of the best tasting korean soups and kimchi in town.

Rude & unkind staff from beginning to the end. Just once reacted kindly when I gave her tip but only that moment. Thats all. Very unhappy experience. Remember CASH ONLY.
