Get the tofu teriyaki. Its like no other teriyaki Ive ever had --- perfect crunch in the tofu and a cabbage based side i wouldnt even begin to know how to replicate -- really healthy and carefully prepared. The service was also excellent and the space itself was so so cozy... My one negative would be that the salads they give you are both not very fresh and also based with iceberg lettuce. Cmon, iceberg lettuces only redeeming quality is its easy to keep fresh! The udon we had was good too. They also had this awesome cinnamon punch/tea -- if you get it ask for it served hot. As for prices, most options are around $12-15, but you can get something for as little as $8. Generally more than we like to spend but it was so good we didnt mind spending the extra $.

I’m a sucker for Korean food & Gosu Restaurant made me fall in love all over again. The service staff was very welcoming, the dishes were authentic and the atmosphere was uber-cozy. My favorite dish was the stone bi-bim-bop with seafood – it competes with other well known Korean spots in the city. BYOB is always a plus. I will recommend this restaurant to friends making the trek to Logan Square for dinner.

I always start with miso and green tea. Each restaurant has its own flavors and Gosu steps up the game. We ate specialty rolls with brown rice substituted and they were all on point. Veggie olive rolls and kimchi completed the evening. BYOB was the best part. We got a bottle of wine across the street at the General, which offers wine and beer to go.

a cute, chill byob place w a patio (uncovered). its not the best korean food youll have in chicago but im happy to have this place in logan sq. the tofu teriyaki was really good- highly recommended! the bi bim bop was a little dry but ok. bonus surprise: entrees come w a miso soup & side salad.

Very good traditional Japanese food. Their maki rolls were fairly good, but their tempura udon was out of this world. I really enjoyed it. The decor was a little weird (there were stuffed animals here and there?), but it was generally very nice. And the service was amazing.

Great service. Friendly and attentive waitstaff. Our food came out in no time. The food itself was incredible and the proportions were enough to make us full but still have some left to take home. Definitely recommend the daeji galbi and the misugaru latte.

Lovely location, good thematically appropriate music (soft jazz for the most part) the short rib appetizer was quite delicious, the gioza was a bit bland. The sushi itself was pretty good; well made and tasty.

I dont like crazy rolls reliance on cream cheese and tempura -- theirs are innovative and fresh. Be sure to try the rainbow dragon roll featuring shrimp, a rainbow of fish and a healthy dose of avocado.

So much to love about this place. Great service, great atmosphere and good people to support. The Seafood Bibimbap is outstanding.

My only beef was the tiny amount of kimchee i got with my bibimbap i mean it was literally 2 one inch squares of cabbage

Their specialty sushi was very good but their staples were a little bland. Soba noodles were excellent.

Great japaneese cuisine and sushi. I mainly like a Bi Bim Bop, which is Korean though
