Never ordering take out from here again. They have a wood burning pizza oven which is awesome but the rest of the food is garbage. Im SOOOOO disappointed because I only live a block away and frequent this place as a drinking establishment but the takeout I just got was literally the worst Ive ever had. First off, the prices listed on their menu on their website are all incorrect so everything ended up being a dollar or two more than I was expecting. Second, they told me the food would be ready in half an hour so I immediately set a timer for 15 minutes after I hung up the phone and left my house the second the alarm went off. I literally live 1 block away so it was at most a two minute walk. They told me half an hour so I get there 17 minutes later figuring I could grab a beer while they finish up the food. Upon arrival I see theres a bag sitting on the counter that looks to be about the right size so I walk over and take a look, sure enough, my food was already waiting for me after only 17 minutes. Initially, I was stoked with their promptitude but then I got home and realized that everything was ice cold. I ordered nachos with ground beef, a chicken burrito, and a cheeseburger cooked medium, with fries. The ground beef was overcooked and super dry, the nachos were soggy and mushy, the burrito was cold and already cut in half for whatever reason, the burger was well done instead of medium so it was dry, the bun was stale, and the fries were so cold I had to microwave them to make them even tolerable. So basically, they told me half an hour, hung up, immediately cooked everything and bagged it up and left it sitting getting cold. I was there in 17 minutes and the food was already way too cold from sitting, if I had arrived in 30 minutes like they said I should, or god forbid 5 minutes late, it would mean the food wouldve been sitting for at least about a solid 20 minutes without being kept warm. Overall, the food was terrible and I was not happy that everything was more expensive than what their menu said on their own website. I will more than likely never order take out from this establishment ever again and would highly recommend that no one else does either.

I used to frequent this bar often as it was a seemingly decent place to go locally for a sports game or to meet friends. A few things about this bar are that the employees are absolute schmucks and treat any customer who isnt a regular like complete garbage. I have lived in edison park most of my life and there are too many good places in ep then epi to go to and I would not recommend this place to anyone. The bartenders are incompetent, extremely ignorant and expect to wait a good 15 20 minutes before youre seen and serviced. Expect another 5 minutes after that to actually receive your beverage. The security are worse... I have witnessed numerous times a handful of them drinking and smoking on the job right in front of customers. And not to say this all happens when theyre checking your ID so basically smoking inside the bar... thought that was illegal? Hmmm. Then on the edison park fest security was told by a person that goes to this bar every single day of his life to tell me to leave after he makes up false accusations of a restraining order. Ha! security told me he was doing it cause the person "is his friend and comes in there a lot". He told this to a loyal paying customer minding their own business ! It was all a joke since I even asked him to call the police to show how false that statement truly was and he still kicked me out. Moral of the review is this place has no morals. Save yourself money and time and go somewhere with a lot more class and better service. That wont be too difficult to accomplish.

This is without a doubt the worst bar in Edison Park. Having spent most of my life in nearby Norwood Park I have been frequenting the Edison Park area for the last eight or so yearsso I feel comfortable pontificating on the scene. I have previously enjoyed many an evening at EPI thanks to the relatively quite atmosphere and more mature crowd. That is until I have finally been so disapointed with the management and staff that I can say with confidence that I will never return. Today I was served a beer, which the bottle indicated was nearly a year old. While I understand that rotation issues could be the cause of this, the fact that the bottle was covered with black mold was disgusting. This was not an isolated incident as we were served a whole bucket of these unsanitary beverages. When I addressed the issue of toxic beverages with the female bartender, I was told "what do you want from me? Drink something else". Not only was she surly and indifferent, but could not manage to apologize or attempt to reconcile the issue. This was addressed with management to the same indifference. There are too many decent places to go in EP that I would never consider recommending EPI to anyone. For the sake of your health and piece of mind avoid at all costs.

I was charged $100.76 for a tip I did not give. Dennis told me someone accidentally typed it in. I dont know how you accidentally type in $100.76 when the slip clearly stated $1.00, with a $8.00 total. Luckily I received a refund, however I will never return. A 100 dollar tip on a 7 dollar drink, is absurd. Also the owner was rude on the phone about the situation, last time I checked it was your employee who messed up.

The most unfriendly people in the area. They act like you owe them something. During fest days an employee was standing in the doorway smoking. Yuk. So much for that law.

The pizza is excellent and very reasonably priced. The mood is laid back and friendly. I make it a point to get there every trip to Chicago.

My favorite thin crust pizza in town. Their chicken fingers are top notch, and the mozzarella sticks are as good as youll find.

Great drink specials, but if you want the drinks somewhat fast you better sit at the bar. Great place to watch a UFC fight.

A sports bar without the true sports bar crowd. If Im the only one invested in the game its not a sports bar.
