Maya Villa

When Ozu Ramen first opened I was highly unsatisfied because of the poor service; however, they have improved their service tremendously! When I went in I was happily greeted and then seated. My server was extremely nice to the point where I thought she was my friend (even though I have never met her)! The food, however, is average in my opinion. I ordered the Miso Ramen and my broth was thick as if cream was added to it, and the pork belly is chewy instead of crisp. However to Shoyu Ramen was delicious. The ramen noodles taste extremely fresh, and they make the perfect soft boiled egg! I only wish the ramen tasted a little lighter...

Tried the Spicy Miso Ramen and a friend tried the Tonkotsu Ramen. Both were delicious. Interiors are nice and staff is friendly. Only issue is the price. We got the "lunch" price ($10-$12) which was $2 less than the usual but still quite expensive given the inadequate amount of food. Also $4 for extra Ramen is kinda unacceptable. But its a Japanese place so, meh. Worth giving it a shot.

The food and service was good. The only real complaint about the food is that central meat that comes with the Ramen is pork belly. The perk belly was good, but you will have to wrestle with it as you chew and hold it in place with chopsticks. It makes you look a bit silly when you are seeing a piece of meat around like a T-Rex that can use its hands.

Very nice restaurant and the food is by no means bad. The ramen, however, is just not up to par with Sakanaya. The pork they use is the main problem - not too good of quality meat makes for an average ramen experience.

The food and decor of Ozu are amazing and fit perfectly into campus. The only reason I am not giving five stars is because the broth of the miso ramen is just a little too salty.

Waited about 45 minutes for the food and they brought one persons bowl 10 minutes after everyone else. Not really acceptable in my opinion. Food itself was ok.

I was mostly satisfied with the food, but it was a bit pricey for what you get. Obviously not a lot of gluten free options, if thats an issue for you.

Was seated fast and the staff was nice and attentive. The food was pretty good, however it was more expensive than what I would have paid for.

Food was too expensive for the quality and the miso ramen was too salty for my taste. The saving grace is the atmosphere.
