5 stars. This is definitely high praise from me. Im not one to go into a ramen shop at all but my girlfriend brought me. Its not that I dont like ramen, its more the fact that my anxiety acts up if Im presented with a non-standard restaurant experience. But this place is like a well oiled machine and its built to last. One of the best things is that they check to make sure theres a table clear before you order, so you arent stuck standing around waiting for a place to sit after youve ordered your food. For a place that was as busy as Sapporo when we went in this was a huge plus. Its not that this is some kind of amazing break through in customer service or anything, its more the attention to detail that I was impressed with. The staff was very polite and helpful. They were friendly and the ordering process was straight-forward. When we pulled into the parking lot I thought about waiting in the car because I figured the dining experience would be difficult but my fears were, as usual, unfounded and everything was great. The food was awesome too!

Deliciois and flavorful ramen, at very reasonable prices (if you dont get sumo size (extra noodles) or a whole lot of extra toppings. We arrived at around 6:30 on a Sunday (convention/Memorial Day weekend) and didnt have to wait long to order and sit (you order your food/drinks (water is self-serve) at the counter and they give you a number and then you seat yourself) and the food came out quickly as well despite being fairly busy (almost all tables were full by the time we left). I had the tonkotsu (pork bone broth) ramen and my bf had the miso (soybean paste) ramen, (both with an egg added) and we shared an order of takoyaki (octopus fritters - think the size and shape of a hush puppy but softer inside and with bits of octopus). All was absolutely delicious and around $30 for everything including tax and tip. Do yourself a favor and try this hidden gem in the Pine Hills area of Orlando :)

My favorite snack when I was a young teenager was eating Maruchan Ramen cups with my friends, I loved it so much that I loved any type of ramen that was in a package. I, for the longest have been wanting to try actual authentic ramen, made in a restaurant, and when I finally had the opportunity to try some, I was extremely excited, and ready to try the authentic flavors of ramen. I had ordered the Tonkotsu Ramen, and switched the noodles to Futomen, instead of the thinner noodles that come with the ramen. The service was very fast, got my bowl in no more than 10 minutes, and dug right in. I wish I could describe the moment of epiphany I had when eating this ramen, but the only way I could share such experience is by saying, come try it yourself. I drive 30 minutes for a bowl of ramen for lunch, and drive 30 minutes back to continue my daily activities. Highly recommended!

Absolutely the best hidden gem out there as far as ramen shops go. Not like there are many around, mind you, but Sapparo Ramen is my favorite. Every bowl of ramen is a rich, delicious experience. The restaurant itself is tucked away into an Asian strip mall, but dont let that deter you from the place. Inside is small, but there are plenty of tables and there is rarely a long line to wait in. Food is delivered swiftly and efficiently! Aside from ramen, you can also enjoy other quick Japanese foods such as nirigri and takoyaki. All of this combined with the fact that the food is pleasantly cheap makes this one of my favorite asian restaurant to visit. Do yourself a favor and stop by the bakery next door for a desert or even drop into the supermarket nearby for some goodies to take home!

I lived in Okinawa, Japan for a year and my favorite place to eat was a ramen house. When I moved to Orlando I didnt think I would ever have my favorite dish again. However, I googled and found a few places. The first place I tried was gross and tasted nothing like what I ordered in Japan. I was depressed and thought it was hopeless. Sapporo was my second pick and OMG I LOVE it. They have my favorite dish and it looks the same, smells the same, and tastes the same. With the first bite, I felt like I was back in Japan and I almost cried. THIS PLACE ROCKS!!!!!!!! I have also tried several appetizers and they are awesome. I have eaten here 4 times now and I found this place 2 months ago. (Its a 20 minute drive for me but if it was closer I would eat here all the time) LOVE IT!!

Best ramen, hands down in Orlando! Fairly priced at about $10 a bowl, I recommend the tonkotsu (milky pork broth) ramen. I also order the octopus dumplings, takoyaki. Im from San Francisco and my wifes from New Jersey and after trying ramen from both cities, we laughed because the best ramen we have had is in Orlando! Beware the lunch time crowd on Saturday 12-2pm because it is ridiculously packed, line to the door, and you HAVE TO ORDER before taking a seat, and I believe they only have x2 high chairs, so it will be difficult to seat the little ones if there are multiple families around. It is a modest setting with hand painted pictures of animals and samurai/ninja/farmers on the walls completes the ambience. This is our go to stead for ramen in O-town.

Outstanding authentic Japanese noodle place. I have yet to have something I dislike here. Ive had chicken udon a couple of times and their curry once. Both dishes are delicious and pack a lot of flavor. Its even better if you go on one of our rare cold days and get a nice hot bowl of ramen or udon. Their gyoza and rice balls are both good. I had their salmon rice ball when it was on special last week and it was really tasty. They add just enough salt to the rice to really pack flavor. No tipping here-- its authentic Japanese and it is considered rude to tip. The interior is nice and clean, and you serve yourself water. They have Sriacha too, so if you dig that, help yourself!

The ramen Ive eaten has only ever come from a bag. After eating at Sopporo, I can safely say, the clear divide between authentic and instant is blatantly clear. I had their Tonkotsu ramen, and my friend ordered Shio (salt). Now my friend has never liked Japanese or Chinese style food, but Im not kidding when I say she emptied the bowl. Im not one for drinking broth, but I eat all my noodles and part of the broth. Id recommend anyone come here. Its a little cramped and the wait can be awhile at busy hours, but the meal is worth it. Ramen isnt their only specialty either, they do Udon and other noodle dishes - and they have traditional Japanese deserts like Mochi.

This was an awesone little spot for some of the best Ramen Ive ever had. Granted Ive never been to Japan. I was amazed at their menu. They had all 4 types of traditional Ramen plus a couple origionals. They spicy miso Ramen was excellent. The onigiri (rice balls) were very good. Not dry at all. The Takoyaki (octopus balls) were moist and delicious. Finally they serve dango!! Its a simple traditional Japanese sweet. The dough ball is made from glutinous rice flower and covered with a sweet and savory sticky sauce. I try to make these at home at they are soso at best. These were perfect!! If we get to come back to Orlando we will definitely come here again.
