Great experience! Very authentic and colorful atmosphere when it comes to a genuine Mexican Restaurant. Colorful decorations & overall theme of the restaurant further adds to its authenticity. Although I definitely wouldnt mind if the colors, decor, and some art work were updated to have colors that pop out some more! The service is very pleasing as well! People who are ready, friendly, and make sure that their customers are taken care of no matter how busy they are! And tonight was PACKED! The waiting area of the restaurant was so full that people were waiting outside for at least a couple hours to get in! This goes to show how great they are at leaving people with a positive overall experience and come back for more and telling their friends about this great authentic sit in restaurant too. And then of course the meals were delicious! Being the fact that I am Latino and grew up on authentic homecooked mexican meals reminded me of exactly that when I eat here. The meals testify to the fact that they are a genuine Mexican Restaurant because they have people who work there who have grown up on this tradition of knowing how to prepare, combine, and serve a great Mexican dish! I HIGHLY recommend eating here!..

I dont understand how this place received such high reviews. The "salsa" was basically chunky canned tomatoes, and the food was average at best. I had the Chili Rellenos D.F., which was supposed to be stuffed with cheese and beef. It was cheese rellenos with ground beef on top, and the flavor was meh. The place seemed dirty to me, the chairs booths are worn, and the bathrooms were not pleasant. Its very loud due to the acoustics, and wasnt very comfortable. The service was quick, almost too quick. I felt rushed to order, and the food came out so quickly that I had to wonder if they might be a bit psychic. Thats a plus if youre on the road like we were, but still... On the positive side, the portions are huge, and the staff was pretty friendly and attentive, and we really enjoyed their tomatillo sauce. Hubby liked his meal better than I did (and I tried his too), but if we lived near there, we would never return.

The staff was super helpful and friendly, even though it was 9:50PM and the kitchen was closing in 5mins. The huge burrito was true to its name and it was all meat and a little lettuce inside, with the optional sour cream, Spanish rice, and tomato salad on the side. The steak was delicious, as well, and the Al Pastor had a savory touch with some grilled pineapple pieces. The Margarita was huge, as well, and a great deal. The horchata tasted home-made! That was a surprise. It was creamy, cinnamony, and downright delicious. Would gladly come here again.

I ordered a random Mexican food. The waiter brought the food, placed it on my table and left. I started eating it. Waiter came back, took the plates away saying they were not the food I ordered. He went into the Kitchen (trying to act as if he was replacing it) and came back with the same plate and gave it to whoever ordered that plate. Couple of minutes later I get my food. I felt terrible for that unknown person who ate from the very same plate I was eating a while ago. If you are not bothered about Hygiene, food is fantastic :)!

Me encanta éste restaurante es de mis favoritos, la comida es exquisita y te la sirven rápido, no hay que esperar tanto. Los meseros muy atentos, las margaritas son deliciosas y los precios son módicos. Excelente lugar.

I think most of the reviewers here must have gotten this place confused with someplace else, or theyve never had REAL Mexican food. (just because its prepared by real Mexicans, that doesnt make it authentic) This was my first (and probably last) time eating here. The salsa looked like nothing more than canned diced tomatoes. The refried beans were thinner than pigeon offerings and the rice was just bland. Seriously, Taco Bell has more flavor.

This restaurant offers great service from friendly staff, a pleasant atmosphere, and most importantly -- good food! Plus, its cheap! The food is delicious and authentic, as opposed to your average greasy pseudo-Mexican fare. Likewise, the multi-colored walls, the decorations, the music, and the super friendly service combine to give the place an authentic feel. Its more than a great restaurant, its an experience!

I ordered 3 chicken tacos because the menu said it would be $5.50 but when my check came, it was 6.50 and when I asked why, the waiter said that grilled chicken tacos are $5.50 and I explained thats what I had and then he switched it Up and said that the shredded chicken tacos are $5.50. Didnt appreciate that nor did I appreciate the callous, rude tone that the cashier showed. Never going back again

We were here on a Saturday night and they were really crowded, but we had made a reservation and were seated right away. The service was excellent. I had fajitas, and the portions were large enough that I wound up taking half home. There were ten in our party and the staff did an excellent job of having our food to us at approximately the same time, and keeping track of the separate bills.

Fantastic food, service, and value. Best dishes are the burrito cheesesteak, fajitas, enchiladas suizas, pollo ranchero, the aculpoco, and so much more. The margs are good and their coke tastes good. Best Mexican in town and possibly one of my all time favorites in town. I highly recommend this restaurant with no reservations.

The food was good and a great price. We went on a Saturday night with a large group, half of which were kids. They treated all of us well and very attentively. When asked if they had gluten free options the manager came over and helped me select something I could eat. I would go back and recommend this place to others.

Used to be my favorite Mexican restaurant until last night. My order was a mess. Meat was dry, no cheese sauce. Tamales dry stuffed with dry old meat. Called and asked to speak to manager. He showed no remorse, pretended not to speak English, then today me to go to burrito king. I wont return.

The server did a great job when my fiancée asked about whether wheat was in one of the sauces. He reviewed it with the kitchen and brought back two other sauces for her to sample after confirming the sauce that would normally come with her meal included wheat. We felt that was above and beyond.

Dos is a classic Mexican place. Everything you want to be here is here. Giant portions of all your favorite Mexican restaurant staples? Check. Huge margaritas and draft beer? Check. Singing mariachi band for birthday guests? Double check. Everything is pretty tasty and the value is superb.

My wife and I have been going to Dos Reales for years. They have great food at a great price. The staff is often friendly and many recognize us and remember our orders. It can be busy at times but is worth the wait. I highly recommend Dos Reales over the other El Toro chain stores in town.

A real value, especially lunch. Everything was fresh ingredients. The "Acapulco" was delicious! Plentiful portions. Service was tops - friendly, attentive (but not too much), quick removal of plates, fast refills (salsa, drinks, etc). Meals arrived (too?) quickly - about 3 mins.

Much better than El Toro. I always get the Enchiladas Supremas at both places... and here at Dos Reales they give you guacamole, tomatoes, sour cream, and lettuce on the enchiladas. El Toro only gives you lettuce, and maybe sour cream. Also, the food comes out so fast!
