I came here on a the Superbowl Sunday it blizzard, there was about 20 people in the bar area. Here you are part of a very large group, you can hear just about everyone conversation and they can hear yours. Despite it being a blizzard a good amount of people made it out! And it was a tight squeeze Very friendly and loud group of regulars were there. Offered free pizza during half time. Bartenders took shots with the tables. Overall is a great dive bar in the suburbs. Service was fast and friendly! I dont see it being a family restaurant though Drinks specials all night, full menu. The cookie dessert was great!

Our favorite place to go on a Friday night. Love the atmosphere, feels homey. Wait staff is extremely attentive. Your drink never gets to bottom as they are on top of it. Our favorite fish fry. Fish is excellent. We get the all you can eat cod. Huge pieces that are crispy and tender and full of flavor. Even your fish orders are refilled before you have even finished practically. Easy parking and just a great quaint place. At holiday time decorated real cute in December. Very clean and usually have sports playing games on big TVs. Bar area is really neat! Love this place.

I dont get the other reviews. Not impressed. Slower service, luke- warm fries, the chips that accompanied fish and chips tasted burnt and were definitely unsalted.... overpriced for what u get ...mediocre. wasnt worth it to draw to their attention as it took about 10 minutes just to get them to return to the table, every time we needed them...and never came to check in on how things were, so didnt have that opportunity.

Driving by this tavern it may appear that its a dive bar with mediocre food but it is far from this. The wraps, burgers, sandwiches are all excellent and the portions are huge! Everything is reasonably priced and the drink specials are great! Since its so close to home, Ive become a regular.

Tried the Prairie Burger. The meat was cooked perfectly, very flavorful. The baked onion roll on the burger was mediocre, I think Kaiser or even a regular hamburger bun might have been better. The seasoned fries were a good accompaniment.

The chicken and guacamole was a bit flavorless. The guacamole lacked zest. The chicken was dry. When you order a dish like this, you dont expect a big BANG. Still, this one limped across the finish line. 3.5 stars rounded up to 4 here.

I got the wings for 8.95. They were tiny and Barry had any sauce, not to mention, there were only 7 wings in the order. I also ordered nachos with chili and there was barely any chili.
