Ive been going to this Beer Market since the day before they opened, when it was a limited access invitation. Even when the place was packed, service was great and beer selection and stock were top notch. Those first 6 months, Id have easily given the Beer Market 5 stars. But for the last year, this place has gone downhill steadily. It regularly takes at least 20 minutes to get a beer, if they have it in stock. Beer rotation and new types (aside from taps) has gone down the tubes. Service and attentiveness is horrible. Even when the place is only 33-50% full, it takes you FOREVER to get an order in and to actually get your order. Tonight was the worst. Even with the place 50% full (which, on an 80 degree Thursday @ 6PM should be a HUGE red flag for management), I waited 40 minutes after ordering a beer only to find out.. they didnt have it in stock. Rather than wait ANOTHER 30 minutes for a beer, I left. The manager blamed it on an "ice cream social". Guess what guys, if youre having to do ice cream socials to pull in people, you have a serious problem. I can SEE the crowds going down, and my review explains why. Im not going back again. This is not a one time coincidence; visiting this place is now intolerable. I wanted to email the owners directly, but the email link on their webpage is purely "mailto:#", which doesnt allow you to email anyone. So Ive posted my feedback here instead.

Overall a good experience. They have a unique set-up. They do NOT serve food...but give you menus from some of the surrounding restaurant. You call in your delivery order and that restaurant brings the food to your table. This is an interesting concepts and worked OK for us. We ended up spending a ton of time figuring out from where we were going to order. Plus, once you get your delivery you cant really add on more food (or more sauce, sides, etc.) like you would at a normal restaurant. You have to call again and place another delivery order. And if there is something missing or wrong with the food, you have to call that restaurant back and wait. The waitress/waiter cant just fix it quickly for you like at a regular restaurant. There was an extensive beer menu, both on tap and bottled. It was disappointing though as there was a decent amount of beers that they were out of. The (non food) service was great. The place is clean nice looking. There is an outside patio. I would definitely recommend the place, but mostly for drinks only. If youre looking to go out for dinner or lunch, their setup is just too tedious and complicated.

This is my all time favorite watering hole by work. The outdoor patio area is fantastic in the warmer months. They always have an awesome beer selection, and they have a few wines/ciders/etc. for the non-beer drinking crowd as well. I have been here literally dozens of times, and the staff is really great. The servers are friendly, and they do their best to keep up with the demand. Some days it is just packed to the brim. You can reserve tables for larger groups, so if you plan a work happy hour thats the best way to make sure you have enough room for everyone. Beer Market is also a great place to visit when youre hungry even though they dont make any food there. You can order from any of the half dozen or more restaurants in the same plaza. They will deliver it to your table, and now youve got dinner and drinks. It can get loud inside, so if youre looking to have a quiet atmosphere, this isnt really it. But its lively and fun. They frequently have live music performances. They have trivia nights, and they also play any big games that are on. Its my favorite watering hole, and I hope it can be yours too!

As a beer fan I loved the great variety of beer they have. The menu lists more than 500 beers. A lot of them usually are not available but youll still find a beer for your taste. There are about 40 kinds of beers on tap and a lot more in bottles. Its sad that they dont offer anything for eating - only chips with dips but you can order pizza or something else to be delivered there. There are a lot of TVs inside playing sports. The prices are usually 5$ to 7$ for a pint/bottle - its higher than Im used to (the same beers in Europe usually are 2 or 3 times cheaper) but still I really enjoyed my visits there.

Beer selection is great. The service is even better. The staff is knowledgeable about the beer they serve, and if they dont know about something theyll go find out about it from the bartender and let you know. You can bring in outside food, or you can ask for a food menu which includes a list of menus from the surrounding/nearby restaurants. You can have them deliver directly to your table for no charge which is great! I love this location and the outdoor seating is great. They have live music on the weekends which is fun. Good place to hang out with friends.

One of my favorite places to go try some new beer. Their beer menu has at least two pages on tap and a whole book more available in cans or bottles. You can also taste before you buy from whats on tap. It is a great way to experience new beer. And I really liked the setup they have with the neighboring restaurants. The beer market may not serve food, but they have the menus from the neighboring restaurants in the parking lot. You call and place your order. And the food is delivered to you at your table in the beer market.

With so many venues offering up great beer selections these days the beer market has tough competition. Located at the heart of Lincolnshire town square the place endures do to location and beer selection as well as the sweet outdoor patio. The staff often leaves something to be desired in their knowledge of styles & flavor profiles. They make up for it with efficiency and friendliness. There is no food, but thats okay since all the places adjacent to them will deliver. Menus available upon request. Cheers.

Beer selection is great. The service during busy hours is generally extremely slow. They will not let you order two drinks at one time either. If you are seated, you also cannot purchase a beverage from the bar. Overall: I love the varieties of beers. It is a really solid place outside of the city with good selection. If you are okay with the server coming over infrequently and can enjoy good conversation with your company, then it is an average place to attend.

Ever since opening, as soon as a band starts on the upstairs stage, everyone leaves because the venue is wayyy too small to have it turned up so loud (Picture taken from the back). I enjoy everything else, but have had to randomly chug a good beer more than once just to save the ear drums and continue conversations elsewhere without screaming. Also they are almost always out of the first few beers I try to order. Great idea, but has a lot of kinks to work out still.
