Ive gone to hamburger connection since I was a kid until now, and Im almost 30. It always had great food and the best service. Sadly, today was my final day eating at this establishment. My experience the past couple years has been this: The food is still the same (when cooked properly)...but the service has completely gone out the window. The girls that work there are not pleasant. I cannot remember the last time one of the girls was friendly. My order is constantly incorrect. And my food has been burnt well over half the times Ive gone there in the past year. A refund is never offered, an apology is never offered. They try and make me take the order and when I say Im not paying for it they start the order over. And they are not fast...it usually takes an extra 10-15 minutes. Unfortunately, I now recommend that you dont eat at this restaurant.

I love this place, I could care less about what others say. The simple fact is that this place is a mom & pop shop that is operated by the college students of Caldwell. Instead of people logging on to Google and posting a poor review there is a phone number right on the window of this establishment with the home phone number of the owners. This place has the best fry sauce I have ever had the pleasure of eating. To the point that I have been attempting to duplicate it at home. I am very close but it still is not the same. If I was the owner I would bottle this and offer it for sale, I would be willing to pay $5.00 a bottle. My wife loves their mile high shakes and grew up eating them. I highly recommend this burger joint to everyone, you get better food at about the same price as the large corporate establishments.

I have eaten here a few times and always got the milkshakes which are delicious. Today was my first time "dining in" as it was with my daughter. We got a large soda that they filled nearly completely with ice. I asked for a refill and was told they dont do refills. When I said that everyone else does refills they gave me some BS answer about "sanitary reasons". Whatever. They are awful expensive for a place that doesnt give free refills, my recommendation would be to go somewhere that does. Which is everywhere else.

Ive had the shakes before, but today my boss and I ate there for lunch. The double bacon cheeseburger was delicious, the fries were fresh and the shake was a perfectly simple vanilla malt. But what we really liked was the customer service - we ordered at the window and the staff were fast and friendly, and whilst we ate outside we watched them do curbside orders for the line of cars waiting to get their food. Simple menu, great hometown burger joint. Will be happy to go back next time Im working out of Caldwell.

I have been to every state in the continental US, eaten at thousands of Mom and Pop joints, and there is no place I love as much as Hamburger Connection. The service of the employees, the quality of the food compared with the price is absolutely amazing! As long as HC has its doors open, I will be a loyal patron.

Usually amazing, but not up to the usual standard lately. We got bacon cheeseburgers without the bacon, or the tomato that was ordered and that had fry sauce which was asked to be left off. To top it off there was a hair in one of the burgers. The shakes were delicious as always and the staff was very nice.

Out of all the burger joints in Caldwell, this ones the best. The food is good and Ive always received great service when I go there. There can be quite a bit of waiting though as it gets pretty busy at points throughout the day, but that just means going there when not in a crunch for time.

I live in Utah and crave these burgers and tots. (gotta love the tots!) The fry sauce is very tasty! I wish I knew how to make it for myself. When I come home to the Treasure Valley, Hamburger Connection is a must-visit for me! Thanks for the party in my mouth!!!

I have been four times now and never leave disappointed. Burgers are the best Ive had in the area. Food is cooked to order. Its amazing how local restaurants survive in these times but glad they do. Love this place. Great shakes and the fries are hot and fresh.

I love this place because they serve excellent standard American burgers, fries, shakes (malts), and ice cream cones that your eyes cannot believe! They also have the best fry sauce that I have ever had to go on some of the best fries I have ever had!

Pretty sure the burgers gave food poisoning, tasted as though they had small rocks in them. The coke tasted as terrible as it comes on top of waiting for two cars in front of us. We were there for almost 30 minutes. Will not eat here again.

I dont get to Caldwell frequently but when I do I always plan for lunch at the Connection. The burgers and fries are the best. Old school drive-in with fast friendly service. I would love to have the recipe for the fry sauce.

Best hamburgers anywhere. Fish sandwiches too .... cooked on the spot ... and Mountain Berry shakes ... Mmmm. Generous on the ice cream cones too. Outside only or drive through. Come before the rush hour or you will wait.

I have been going to Hamburger Connection for as long as I can remember and as long as they are open I will continue to eat there. The milkshakes are outstanding and the burgers are amazing. It doesnt get much better

The bacon cheeseburger and onion rings are to die for. Oh, and the banana shakes are made with real bananas... You really cant go wrong here. Its a local institution/obsession for a reason!

The hamburger connection is very good. They opened in 1983 and became a favorite in the area. Burgers are very good, fry sauce is unique and yummy. There shakes you have to try ....

The only seating available is outdoors, but in the summer its not a bad place to sit at a picnic table and eat a greasy, saucey burger. Good stuff! A Caldwell staple!

The evening shift lacks basic customer service skills. Was rude and short. Fries were cold, the bacon was old and very hard. It was just overall unpleasant :)

Love the food and the shakes! Its a bit pricey though. Especially if you want to add bacon to a burger and sub a soda for a shake makes your meal over $10.

The drive thru stuff cant hear through the speaker. When I got my receipt I had charges for random things that I didnt order. At least the food was hot
