Passing by Georgia on the way to Florida we were looking for a Japanese restaurant d I googled and ended up finding this place as this is the only.One closed by to where we are and the fact that we are not from Georgia we dont know what to expect.In.tje beginning,we were hesitant to enter the place as it is the kind of place that one will be not sure.of when you.looked at it from the outside and for it was not in a good location as it was not in an upscale place comparolimg to other Japanese Restaurant that weve been too but because I read their recent review so I said theres nothing to loose to try this place . Surprisingly their food is delicious and the service is good. They had a good selection of Japanese and Chinese food. The toilet is clean. The place is not busy but they are busy with the people calling for a to go or pick up order. I hope they dont let their little child stay in the restaurant as the table where their child is watching the movie from the phone is making noises.But overall I do recommend this place as the quality of their food is fresh and delicious.

This is my favorite sushi place. Ive been going for 5 years since I moved to the area. It is family owned with real food. The owner is very nice and always remembers her customers and cares about what they eat. She remembers that my husband is alergic to mayo! The sushi is always amazing. They also have a variety of Chinese and Japanese dishes that are delicious. But if you are expecting typical fast food fare, this aint it. It is also not a habachi restaurant in the sense of cooking food in front of you. Their habachi dishes are delicious though. I also think a lot of the negative reviews are simply a clash of cultures. The owner treats you like you are eating at her house. We treat her the same and have never had an issue. Friday nights are the busiest and seeing as it is a small restaurant with a small staff, the wait for food can get long. Any other time is good service and pretty quick delivery of delicious food. Plus, they deliver! My entire family loves this place and the staff.

We are very picky about the Chinese/ Japanese food we eat. So rarely do we venture out of our established eateries. I am exceedingly happy we took a chance on Kazu. The restaurant is clean, the staff is friendly, and the food is excellent. To begin with, the food is served in a traditional manner with plenty of fresh vegetables and the portions are equal to the value of the meal. Plenty of menu options, and youre not penalized for substitutions or personal preferences. A great restaurant overall would gladly recommend to anyone.

Didnt actually have the chance to try this place because the young lady that answered the phone barely understood english and therefore could not verify my address. After finding someone who could understand me she informed me that even though I was only 2.5miles away they could not deliver to me because of a new driver? Im confused because why offer a delivery service if youre just going to attempt to talk me into doing pickup? Extremely annoyed and disappointed in their poor customer service.

Bought the egg foo young (beef), it was horrible. It was $10 for two patties and half a tray of rice. The patties were burnt on the outsides. Maybe I am spoiled from living in Chicago for 35 years but when you pay that much it should feed more than just me. The atmosphere is great and cozy for family and couples. But if you go, maybe you should stick to the Japanese menu. I only purchase one thing, but that turned me off.

When I called to order I talked to the lady at the front desk. I gave her half of my order and paused to decide if I wanted egg rolls or spring rolls and she said call back when you have your order together and hung up on me. I called back and ordered my food. When I came time to eat my food was less than acceptable. The rice was dry, vegetables burnt, and the won ton soup was bland. I will not be eating here again.

I called ahead and asked for delivery. First the lady argues with me asking for no onion then i get both orders have no onions or veggies at all. Steak was supposed to done medium its so tough you cant chew it. Ive never had an issue going in the restaurant. However the person answering the phone does not understand what you say and does not get your order. Id give ordering online q zero

What Japanese restaurant does not have seafood sauce, yum yum sauce, or the pink sauce? That was a joke. The only good thing I can say about this place is it was clean and has good sweet tea. The food was BLAND and my Hibachi Chicken tasted like burnt broccoli! I could barely stomach it. The rice was really dry and bland with no seasoning at all. Definately will not go back.

Lovely, cozy, family oriented restaurant! The staff is always so nice & on point with their service. The food is unbelievably delicious & always fresh! My daughter loves their sweet tea, she says is that the tea is AMAZING(thats saying a lot she is very picky about her sweet tea)!!! This is our favorite little hideaway restaurant!

I dont trust a ton of Chinese or Japanese places but there are only two places that I will eat at so far and this is one. I love sushi and will normally travel to the North side but now I have a new favorite near home. Overall great place for a bite to eat in a quiet setting. Service: 5/5 Food: 5/5 Decor: 3.5/5 Atmosphere: 5/5

The atmosphere has been nice every time I come in. Its a sweet little place and the food is always excellent. The portions might be a little small for some people, but I find them just perfect and the prices are so good, that I can order whatever I want on my part-time salary and still have plenty of money left over.

Sushi is super fresh and has great flavor. The service is ehhh lol...worth the wait tho! ✔quality/taste ✔price. I mean I wait in line at Walmart for less superior items so its all good. The prices are CRAZY low so 2 outta 3 checks aint bad. When they work on that service speed and theyll be unstoppable

Best sushi and you cant beat the price... Love this place... only Chinese place Ill eat at... The food is made with lots of love... The budda rolls are my favorite sushi roll.... I try to get something like it when ever I order sushi with tuna avocado cucumbers and cream cheese...

Greasy lomaine,no vegetables included,couple pieces of beef.lg order house fried rice had the tiny cheap tasting shimp hardly any meat at all and chicken was dry.also had no vegetables included dark brown in color and tasted bland.didnt feel good after eating.ugh

This is my first time eating here, ordered out. I ordered two fried tempura rolls and shrimp fried rice. I like it. Not bad. Making this one of my goto spots for sushi. I caught a look at the menu and see they also serve regular Chinese food. Delicious.

I love Kazu! I remember when they 1st opened it was a breath of fresh air to have a sushi bar that had good prices and GREAT food! They have wonder service and wait staff and kitchen staff are so much fun that weve made this our weekly sushi joint!
