should have left when we walked in the door. one person had ordered and was waiting for food and three people in line; however, no employee at the cash register taking orders. there was one employee in the kitchen that was talking to his girlfriend through the kitchen window. hunger had hit so we decided to stay. around ten minutes later we ordered and went to find a seat. the dining area was dirty-lots of empty chairs, but multiple tables were covered with remnants from previous diners. we waited forty five minutes for our food - in that time one diner got fed up and left, another couple waited until the cashier brought out their order - one persons order was incorrect and they didnt receive the correct meal until their companion finished their meal. my husbands food finally came out, but mine didnt follow for another ten minutes. can i add that multiple to go orders were fulfilled before any of the three dine in parties had received their food (despite us all placing our orders first). to make this longgg review come to an end - awful experience. had always like d this chain, but will opt to go to another location because this was the biggest train wreck in management and customer service i have ever experienced.

I like this location because it is never busy when I eat here. The location is always clean, service is quick and food is decent. Tin Drum is for those looking for a quick Asian fix for an under $10 price tag per entrée. I stick with a rice dish most of the time. My favorite rice dish is the Basil Fried Rice. The menu is pretty simple. All the dishes are made with chicken, but you can substitute chicken for beef, shrimp or tofu. At this location, I dont care for the seats. When you have extra trunk space, those little chairs are not derriere friendly. The dining area is of adequate size and you have enough walk thru space with bumping into anyone. Tin Drum can be a hit or miss depending on who is cooking, but this location has been pretty consistent on the quality and taste of the food.

Severely understaffed and undertrained. The staff either doesnt pick up the phone for to go orders or they just have everything forwarded straight to the answering machine. When they do pick up, Ive had unusually long waits (30 minutes plus) on multiple occasions without being told that I would have to wait any longer than normal when I call in my order. Also, on the rare occasion that everything goes smoothly up to the pickup point, they often leave the jalapenos out of my dish (which has jalapenos listed on the menu as an ingredient) when I specifically ask for extra jalapenos due to them leaving them out so often in the first place. Good luck if you decide to order.

This is the dirtiest Tin Drum I have ever been to. Its Friday evening and surprisingly not very busy. Well, surprising until I walked in here. Tables are dirty, floor is dirty, chairs are splayed about, and the one person at the register is very uninterested in his job. Ive been to a few of these before and the food is mediocre but we were in the area and wanted something quick. That plan also didnt work out for us. Were going on 30 minutes. Im considering just leaving because this is nonsense. Wont be making this mistake again. More! Just got our food! Its cold. How can that be? This place is horrible. Even more! Egg shells in my food! Got a refund, left.

Every time I walk in to this location its like watching a sinking ship. The kitchen staff always look visibly stressed and rushed, Ive had a cashier get my order wrong and then tell me I didnt say the correct dish, Ive waited over 40 minutes for a to-go order on one occasion, and they always seem to be out of something–including their main staple, white rice. Theres always a large group of people waiting for to-go orders and Ive seen several customers get angry with the staff. The food is actually good for quick fast food, but this location in particular definitely needs to pay more attention to training their staff correctly.

I love Tin Drum, but this location is terrible. There is always a long line. Once there is was no cashier with about four people waiting. The casher was doing double duty by helping with food (because there was one person in the kitchen) and cashiering. The food is hit or miss. I guess it depends on who cooks it and it is cold most of the time. The crab and cheese rolls never fail me though. Ive given this location a couple of times to get it right. I figured maybe they have bad days, but it has been the same for the past few visits. Even coupons do not prompt me to come back

Worst pick up experience at the North Druid Hills location. The cashier NEVER EVER pick up the phone!! Very frustrating when you are driving by and want to get quick pickup. The app wont allow you to choose a slot thats within 15min! When I ordered using the app and arrived at the pickup time, food was not ready and people who ordered after my arriving had gotten their food before mine. Staff is very unapologetic and dont care that I waited almost 40min for a simple pick up order. Food is mediocre at best only reason I would go is for supposedly "quick" pickup.

DO NOT GO TO THIS TIN DRUM! This was easily the worst experience at a Chinese restaurant Ive ever had. Ever. No one would answer the phone to accept a take-out order and I called at least 10 times over the course of an hour. I decided to drive over, make the order, and wait. The staff was unfriendly and it took over 30 MINUTES to get a CARRYOUT order. There were only two other customers in the store at the time. Guess what happened when I got home? My order was completely wrong, I received a totally different persons order. Ill never return.

I ate at this restaurant for the first time today. I will not be returning to this location. The employees seemed disshuffled and lazy. I ordered the Wok wings, my wings were brunt to the point that they were bacially charcoal. I asked the cashier were the wings suppose to look like this or were they burnt. She replied by saying it was the sauce on them that made them look dark. When I bit into one, I realized it wasnt the sauce, the wings were actually burnt. I can say mangement handled the sitaution well.

Ive been here several times and the service has steadily declined, but at least they could put a bowl of noodles together. Looks like the lack of care has spread to the kitchen. Noodles were uncooked and quite tasteless. Tofu and jalapenos tasted like they had been tossed in at the end and were raw. Assuming the chain has some pre-set instructions for their popular dishes, am amazed that the cooks cant follow those instructions. No redeeming feature to this establishment anymore.

Food is decent. Im a regular, but the customer service is lacking. I placed an order and was given the wrong order that contained peanuts to which my child is allergic. I had to drive back up there from a good distance away to either get a refund OR the correct food. They couldnt give me my money back over he phone so I could buy something else closer to my house. Basically felt like they were saying "my bad".
