Super understaffed, so there was obviously a wait. That wasnt the problem. Theres a sign outside that says "Mexico Restaurant." Our waitress offered cheese dip but refrained from telling us it would be an extra $3.50 for something so mediocre. This was before we got our menus, so we didnt have the chance to see the prices. I needed a refill, so four different people came to refill my drink. Complete lack of communication between wait staff. The cheese in my enchilada stuck to the roof of my mouth like peanut butter. We never got our ticket, but rather we were expected to go to the register to finally know our total. That was a pain. We couldnt look at our ticket and determine pricing issues, tip, etc. When we went to pay, there was a stack of dirty dishes right in front of the cash register. Filthy. Piled with half-eaten wings and dried cheese dip. No soap in the bathroom. The younger girls working there obviously were frazzled but still cared about being likeable, but the one experienced waitress didnt seem to care about the customer service aspect at all. I had a lot of hope for this place. I realize this is Monticello, but that doesnt mean this is a good restaurant.

Great food! People find a lot to complain about in a such a small town, but this is seriously the only thing the town has going for itself right now! Staff varies, because you never know who is working there at the time. (Great if you have teens looking for jobs, always hiring) Chefs are consistent, food is always up to par! Great drink specials, great food, always accommodating when it comes to large parties! I couldnt ask for a better Mexican restaurant in such a small town!

Great food, but terrible service. They used to have the best service of any restaurant I ever went to, but it is obviously under new management. Their food is wonderful, but they never get my order right. The wait is horrendous and to get someone to wait on you or even fill your water glass is almost impossible. Shame its the only local Mexican around.

This place is awesome. LOVE THE WINGS.. my favorite then theres the #36 with extra cheese... Good Lawd makes a fat boy smile. On a serious note. I see the owner and employees help others when theybare not on shift. That alone is ENUFF FOR ME.. Keep up the good work. Thanks go all you do for me...

The food wasnt even cooked completely. The service sucked to the point that we had to ask for menus and the silverware. I would recommend that no one should try this place. Save your money.

Food is passable but oils not go out of my way to eat. Best dish is the Texas Fajitas for 2. This restaurant likes to skimp on the tortilla, chips are the thick type which U dislike.
