Shocked at the experience we just had. We were sat and immediately greeted by our waiter (Leo). I asked for a water, Leo made a face and began trying to upsell an alcoholic beverage, I nicely said no but my husband decided he would try the one Leo was talking about, he also asked for a water. At the same time we place our order; where I specifically ordered ONE order of steak & chicken fajita nachos (making sure I said we were splitting it) I asked for a side of rice and beans to go with it and my husband requested a small cheese dip. While waiting, we ate an entire basket of chips and a bowl of salsa before the manager walked by and noticed we had no drinks. Which the manager then brought to us, & apologized. When our cheese dip was brought out by Leo we had only crumbs in the chip basket (which he ignored, & tried to have conversation with my husband). While he was standing there our food was brought out by a kitchen staff member and she place 2 orders of steak and chicken nachos on our table. My husband asked Leo if that was just the one order that we asked for and Leo stated "yes unless I hit the wrong button, let me go check". Several minutes later he came back and said he had hit the wrong button, it wasnt that much food and that we could eat it, as he slid my husband a $5.00 off coupon and again tried to get me to order an alcoholic beverage (at the same time he took the chip basket off the table, now we have nothing to eat our cheese dip with). He never came back to refill our drinks. We had to ask for our check and when it came we were charged the full price for 2 orders of the nachos $27.99! Leo then asked for the coupon so he could take it off the bill. I was so shocked with the entire experience I didnt ask for the manager, I already felt uncomfortable with Leo. All I can say is the $20-25 dinner we were supposed to have turned into $50 and I can guarantee we will never go back to this location.

I do not know why I came here, I somehow always forget that this location sucks! Ill be sure to make myself a note. This was probably the fourth time I have come here, and every time I have been to this Frontera there is ALWAYS something wrong with my boyfriends or my food! First of it took us more then the normal time to get greeted and receive drink by or waitress. Then I proceeded to order a large cheese dip, and when I got it it was luke-warm, and was still chunky from not being heated up all the way-- Unacceptable! I then asked our waitress to re-heat it, she came back with it and only the edges were hot, the middle was a little warmer but not hot like it should have been. I did not even bother to ask her to re-heat it again. Then I ordered a combo meal-- Chicken burrito and taco, and a cheese enchilada. The only hot food about my entire dinner was the beans a rice! I went to cut into my cheese enchilada, and the cheese was not even melted, it was still shredded, as if you just plopped the cheese in there and rolled it up! Not to mention my plate was not even hot like at all other Mexican restaurants are. I will NEVER-- NEVER go back to this place. With me being a prior waitress at other restaurants including a Mexican establishment, and my boyfriend being a corporate chef/ Kitchen manager. We know how things should be run, and cooked. This was just horrible all around. I cannot wait to re-heat my food in the microwave later, at least it will be better then when I received it at the restaurant! My boyfriend and I will now be going to the competitors like we used to all the time, You want good Mexican got to El Ranchero!!!

our server took 30 minutes to take our order. Then it took 40 minutes for the food to come out. There were only 3 of us at the table. We only saw our server twice. Then the manager came out and without any other word he started swearing at the table next to us. This table had been nothing but nice the whole time their server was doing a terrible job. He was yelling at these customers because he said they were stressing out his server. Then our server never came back and we had to ask the people at the front to get our check. If I could give this less than a star I would. Because these reviews are for a restaurant and I dont know how you can call this place a restaurant.

Visited Mi Mexico tonight and was very pleasantly surprised with what could have been a very ordinary meal. Had a coupon for a buy one get one combo meal.... every where else this comes out as food slopped on a plate. Not at Mi Mexico. I had an enchilada with a chile releno plus rice & beans. Husband had a burrito (which was huge), a chile releno, chicken taco and a chalupa. We should have taken a picture because the plates of food were beautiful and it was DELICIOUS!! This place needs to be on your things to do list. You will not be disappointed. Plus the margaritas are excellent!!

Linda was our server. She was great. With a toddler and a two month old she was very patient and even got our toddler to settle down with scooby snacks (people treats not the ones for dogs). The food came fast and was pretty good for the price. Both plates were hot and made fresh. We can not complain about a thing. On a Friday our wait was about 10 mins. Also at 1 point there was an employee playing with another kid. The staff was very kid friendly and that was awesome. Thanks everybody at Fontara. For our 1st time out in 3 months this was a great experience.

This has got to be the worst Frontera I have ever been to! Almost the worst Mexican restaurant! The kiddies working there actually think they are better than the customers and show it. When We were seated we were given 4 menus for 7 people and told they were running out. There were only 12-13 tables occupied. WTF??? The food was awful. Tasteless, saltless and barely above warm. They did not even say hot plates!!! I will never go back here for sure.

Dont get me wrong, the food here is delicious. And the staff is usually friendly and quick. BUT the cleanliness is kind of a concern. They have dozens of fake plants with thick layers of dust above several booths. They obviously havent been cleaned in awhile, if ever. It makes me concerned about their kitchen cleanliness. Otherwise though, best Mexican food on loganville. Ill change my review to 5* If it gets cleaned before we go back.

Its good food. Service has declined in the last couple of years. This Frontera used to be packed, but now there is better Mexican food in Loganville, so dont expect a long wait, if any. Their portion sizes have decreased and they have done things like not include a drink with the kids meal. I think a number of small things have caused this Frontera to decline. Its not bad at all, just not what it used to be.
