My fiance and I decided to try this place because the other Mexican favorite in town, El Centinela, is usually crowded and their customer service has gone downhill a lot compared to a few years ago (I started to hate going because of it) . Most of the employees were friendly and the food was good! I tried their tacos al pastor and they were great. However, we also went a second time and the service was mediocre. My food wasnt very great and the few things I had asked for hadnt been done (no tomatoes, tomatoes had been taken off right before I got my order, I know because of the tomatoes rings left in my sour cream and an order of rice I had also ordered had been forgotten). Im not sure how to feel because the first time, I really enjoyed my experience and the second time may have just been a bad waiter (or one who just didnt have a good night). Either way this has brought my original 5 star review to a 3 star.

Horrible service- the staff seems to not know what theyre doing... They were playing a horror movie on the TV in the eating area... totally inappropriate for a restaurant that had kids dining there too!... My last two visits there were completely uncomfortable and I will definitely not visit again. Luckily there are some other wonderful Mexican restaurants in Winder that are much better!

Every time I come here or order food its a disappointment. I will always ask for chicken and I always get beef. The chicken is dry and chewy. It has no flavor and everything is too salty. Also my rice wasnt even fully cooked. It was crunchy. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Taco Bell does better than this.

Good food. I had the chicken chimichangas. It came with 2 and beans with cheese. I would order it again. The chips were ok. Kinda bland. Ive had better. The salsa was good. Cheese dip was great. Service was ok. I arrived at 530pm and was promptly seated. The restaurant is clean.

Our visit this evening was great. It was our first time at Los Vaqueros, and this is our new favorite. More food than a normal person can finish, and it is all good. The margaritas are great, you can tell they are mixed individually, not from a machine. Very highly recommended.

Absolutely love this place, come at least twice a month. Everything on the menu is delicious, the staff is excellent and the atmosphere is fantastic. Bring your family, bring your friends, this place is great! I have and will continue to recommend it to friends.

I just grabbed some take out about an hour ago, the food was awesome. The lady who suggested my order was friendly and helpful. I will be recommending this restaurant. Next time Ill stay and have a few drinks.

The taco shrimp salad was not a salad it was soup. The manager took the cost off the bill but said this is the way it comes out. The Texas fajita was good. Nice place food came out quick.
