Just had an awful experience with a waitress named Kathie I believe was her name? This is the first time I had ever visited this location but frequent the one on Austell Rd. with work associates often and never have been treated badly at the one in Austell. I meet 4 buddies to eat this morning and three of us got the breakfast buffet but Our fourth person is having a doctors procedure tomorrow morning and cant eat solids today but can have liquids only. He tried to order a cup of coffee at the table and the waitress went off on him because he didnt have a ticket. He went thru the line with us and told the cashier that he was not eating but only wanted coffee and she told him to see the waitress. Instead of her helping us figure it out and get this man a cup of coffee she made us all feel uncomfortable like he was asking her for a free buffet or something. She went off on us and the mgr. had to replace her with another waiter and he was excellent. Needless to say we will not be back because of this lady who made our experience a nightmare and embarrassed us all. Food was ok but after the incident I really didnt care to eat! Zero stars because of the atmosphere here.

Me and my family have been going to this restaurant since we moved here in July of 2011, we all enjoyed it so much to where I even recommended it to my friends, I went to the one in Decatur and it made me appreciate this one even more, but today I had one of the worst experiences, I got sick instantly and almost didnt make it to the bathroom after taking a few bites.I noticed my chicken was raw in the middle when I got back from the bathroom the waiter had thrown it away, so when I brought this to manager attention he told me they get food fresh and check the temperature of the batch, he never apologized or even acknowledged me sitting eyes watering and dry heaving. He never even came back to check on us, needless to say that me and my wife are both suffering from food poisoning tonight. As loyal customers we really expected more and thought we mattered. The only reason I gave it a star is because I had to to post it .

Food was terribly underseasoned, pizza was dry and hard, brussel sprouts were mushy, dressing was clammy, mac n cheese was watered down, burgers were dry and burnt, chicken was dry. The only good thing was the bread, salad and I had a little steak that I waited 20 minutes to get because they dont serve steak until 4 and I refused to leave before actually eating something. My 2 children were very disappointed and barely ate anything. For such an array of food, there should be something filling and tasty for everyone to enjoy.

I have been a customer of Golden Corral for the past one decade or more. The price and value are emphatically reasonable and surpassed expectations. This location in particular is my favorite one.The management as well the staffs are always amply endowed with great welcoming and able to relate to customers in very well manners approch and professionalisim.This location have maintained the level of integrity and service they supposed to put in place.I have gone to too many location by far this location is the best.

This is a eat all you can eat buffet. In order to get decent menu items from the buffet you have to get their on the right time. Usually when the place is overcrowded and busy is when youre going to get fresh items. The downside to the crowdedness it takes you almost 30 minutes just to get the things you want. Remember this is a cheap eat, and you get more for your money. Very popular with the locals and tourist as well. Staff is usually slow about refilling your beverages.

Customer service needs real work! Watched 2 seperate incidences on same night when wait staff got very short and ugly with unrelated parties. Some foods taste great, but many times there is a complete miss (like shrimp creole has lots of shrimp and decent seasoning but absolutely no vegies [ex: no tomatoes or onions, celery, or sweet peppers even])! But probably the worst: overall cleanliness is not consistently maintained!!!

The food was adequate and our server Sandra was nice. The managment there is abysmal. Not after five minutes of walking into the restaurant, a manager proceeded to ball out my husband about setting a fire with a cigarette when: a. He doesnt smoke and b. We parked on the opposite side from where the fire was. The manager didnt even bother putting out the fire before balling him out. We are definitely done with this location.

Our experience was fine. Our server kept our drinks filled and the wait was reasonable most times, but this just wasnt worth the money in my opinion. We could have gone some place else and purchased entrees for the same price. Adding a second set of bathrooms to the floor plan would be smart considering the place is so large. Walking from one side of the building to the other several times with kids was not fun.

When feeding nine people, Golden Corral is a safe bet. Open buffet but no chicken livers the day I visited. A good variety of food. The rolls werent that usual fluffy and delicious. They were over cooked and dark brown in Color. The fruit was good and sweet. Meat was a little cooked tough. Sides okay. Not sure if Id do this again, maybe if the Timing is better meaning not crowded.

If I could give this place no stars I would. I called in advance and was told that if I was coming early not to worry. I have been waiting over 30 minutes to be seated!! The GM is rude and tells me we were not promised a room. For a party of 20 people he expects us to seat in a seat of 4 tables!!! Will never be back. Horrible customer service!!!

I overate!! However, everything was fantastic and our server, I think her name was Sandra (serving a room on back side of salad bar and worked there for 8 yrs.) Was amazing. She did not slow down the entire time we were there and very attentive and friendly to everyone. Says she loves her job and it showf. Wow. Thanks GC !!!!

On Christmas this Golden Corral rocked! Steaks were great, service was great, experience was great! The wait was a little long but the staff had it organized and rolling as fast as could be expected! Much respect for this location and staff!! UPDATE: Have been 2 more times and each time the food and service are top notch!

My family and I have been eating Thanksgiving Dinner at Golden Corral for about 5 years now. But, WE WILL NEVER AGAIN...THIS THANKSGIVING, THE FOOD WAS AWFUL...OUT OF 20 PEOPLE ABOUT 5 DID NOT FEEL WELL. WE WILL NOT BE BACK... EVERYONE WATCH WHAT YOU EAT....IT WAS AWFUL! There is a guy (not the Mexican dude, Mexian dude is cool as hell) that serves and cooks the steaks and he is a real Pig, he serves you very little ammounts of food and plus he is rude as hell with all the guests. They should really get rid of him and get someone that really appreciates hi job.
