Very disappointed in what used to be our favorite place to dine. We visited the evening of 6/10/16. This will be our last visit after years of mostly good experiences. The restaurant was hotter inside than outside. 8 people at our Hibachi table were sweating and so hot we could not eat. No refills on our water, 4 of us did not even receive our drink we had to go fetch them ourselves. We piled our dishes up on a chair in the corner the soup,salad, sushi bowls,platters etc which were never removed. So unbearably hot,we boxed our hibachi combo meals to go. We eat sushi at least once a week there and do the grill when we have our grandsons, they love the entertainment. They were so hot they didn`t even care about the amateur cook we had. We never look at the bill breakdown when we dine we just pay and go. I was so miserable this time I looked at it. My husband ordered a Crown & 7(no 7up so sub w/sprite) no problem. I was not upset about the $8.00 drink but .50 for the sprite? Are you kidding me? Whats next $1.00 per ice cube and $3.00 for the glass? Its not the money its the principle!! The mixer does not come with your crown. Why is it called a mixed drink? I guess I never knew that they charge you on top of your $24-$28 meal for the fried rice either. I could not believe it. I questioned the manager about these charges and told him how miserable it was where we were sitting. It was so hot we could not eat. No apology! Then I proceeded to tell him we are frequent customers of this restaurant and are these normal charges? Um, yes he said we do that. He really could have cared less. Now, had he said I`m truly sorry we are working on the air ,Could we offer you a complementary appetizer on your next visit, I would have been pleased that he had showed some concerned. The .50 didn`t break us , It`s just called gauging your customers. We will not tolerate it. So all you Sushi stops in Hiram we are coming to check you out! Hope to make you our new sushi home. The Taki Japanese Steakhouse is close to my home and I love hibachi food. Since I was in-town just for the evening, my wife suggested Taki Japanese Steakhouse. Wed been before with some friends, but this time just us. I tried the chicken and shrimp with fried rice, soup, and vegetables. Whatever that white sauce is I believe is the best because the red one is a little bitter. The cook was entertaining and the kid at our table was awed by his performance. Ill keep it short, the Taki Japanese Steakhouse filled the spot quickly. Ill add this place is reasonably priced not like those places in downtown Atlanta. It saved me money and time. A must-do again...

2 stars because the food isnt terrible. However, the service is awful. I recently called to order filet and sushi to go and the person on the phone was so rude!! This is the second time this has happened. She rudely stated that the togo orders do no come with soup--even if you do not want salad. This place is much closer to my house than Daruma in Douglasville but I will be making the drive from now on because of the rudeness of the staff at Taki. Daruma has better food anyways! GO TO DARUMA! I would never spend my money at this rude place. RUDE.

Service and food has gone downhill in the past 6 months. Some of the hibachi chefs actually interact with you but most of them just act like robots as they cook the food. The last time we went we were on a time crunch so we ate in the "restaurant" part. The meat was WAY overcooked to the point we could not eat it and the rice was terrible. The servers response was "its the same as hibatchi side" and walked away. Very disappointing experience. We are looking for another hibachi restaurant now, any suggestions??

This has been my favorite place to eat at for years now. The food is in big portions but always amazing, the venue is nice i love eating the hibachi but if ur not in the mood to wait for the show theres also booths and tables that give u the same excellent food in half the time. And the service is wonderful theres not one time that iv gone n had bad service, the waiters n waitresses are friendly and helpful.

Use to love this place but Im never going back! The roof was leaking and I was getting soaked. We asked for sweet tea, got unsweetened and it took 30 minutes to get the right drink. Our salad had a long black hair in it! Our appetizers came out after our meal was served and they brought the wrong appetizer. The sushi was fair but nothing to brag about. The place has gone downhill and we wont be going back.

This was by far the worst Japanese restaurant I have ever taken my family to, we will never ever return here! We were on town for the weekend and I promised my wife Japanese, we searched Japanese restaurant and found this one, read the reviews thought it wouldve been just what we were looking for. WE WERE WRONG. DROVE 20MILES FROM OUR HOTEL FOR CRAP...try taking tips from Miyabis Columbia, SC

I dont eat hibachi that often, but their sushi is delicious! We went on a Sunday evening during summer break, and there was a pretty decent wait for the hibachi tables. I went for sushi and was seated immediately. The service was very good and food priced well. Sushi rolls ranged from 6 to 11 bucks. Sunday is also $1 sushi night, so I got a couple of those. Ill definitely go back.

This Habachi has very bad customer service there waa this one lady that dis not understand what we were saying. She messed up our order and another lady came to us and told us they could not do anything about it. I have many connections and making sure they do not come. Nobody here has common sense highly do not recommend to come here

Nothing good about this place. My family (4) and I went in for lunch at 1:45. We asked for the Hibachi grill and they said that they close the grill at 2:00 so we couldnt eat the Habachi. Hmmm. Why would you turn down business when the grill hasnt yet closed? Wanted to give this place a shot but wont bother and wont recommend.

Listen, I Lv me some sushi and have a good idea on what taste is what. But since this place has remodeled the food and your drinks has gone down hill. Had my first hibachi experience here and it was absolutely wonderful. The hostesses are amazing. The chefs are amazing. The FOOD is amazing. I highly recommend everything and everyone here. Its a completely different dining experience than most American restaurants and I love it. Totally going back later this week!

Hostess was very rude. Tried to sit our baby at the corner of a table in a high chair when the place wasnt even crowded. Asked to be moved since its dangerous for the baby to hit her head and was refused. Asked to speak to a manager and was told no one was there. Absolutely unprofessional and rude.
