Fun hibachi with a large helping of fried rice, meat of choice, vegetables, and two shrimp for everyone. My date had the chicken and steak combo. I dont understand why it costs so much more because each is only a half portion. Maybe because of extra prep and cooking time? I chose shrimp and had 10 very large fresh ones. The knife/spatula show was impressive. A few bits of criticism: We werent offered the saki squirt as other tables were (because there were only two of us?), the onion volcano fell over, so it didnt get a chance to cook or steam which kept them pretty raw. Also, I ordered a California roll, which was sizeable, but if there was soy sauce on the table anywhere, I didnt see it nor did a server come by for me to ask. All that aside, it was an excellent meal and we were quite full. Leftovers will be good for lunch!

Went for the first time for dinner service. It was awful. The waitress was rude. She told me I ordered Salmon when I definetely ordered beef (allergic to salmon so I cant eat it anyway.) they were quick to push us out the door even though we were still 30 minutes before close when we left. Ive been here for the lunch service before, but the dinner service was not welcoming and does not make me want to drive almost an hour for this resturant anymore. Can not recommend them anymore after this service.

The hidden gem of Frankfort, Ginza never disappoints. I have eaten at Ginza dozens of times and in many different scenarios. From business lunches to birthday gatherings, Ginza consistently delivers. The service is always just right. They are attentive without being suffocating. The food is consistently delicious. The hibachi is always on point and the sushi far surpasses any place Ive had in Louisville or Lexington. The price is right. And it is right there in Frankfort. Go there and go often.

Great, distinctive Japanese cuisine, instead of all-u-can-eat at the food trough. Consistently entertaining chefs at the grills, with lots of smiles and fun. Twice Ive had a chef pull out a little doll that "peed" sake straight into my mouth. Sounds strange, but tasted great and had us all laughing like hyenas. Also, the sushi is awesome, and its easy to walk in for lunch and not have to wait, if you sit at the sushi bar.

This is the first time we have been here and we loved it. My husband is a hibachi chef and has worked for louisvilles best Japanese restaurants so we know how the service is suppose to be like. The chef went out of his way to interact with out 4 year old daughter. He was very nice and attentive our server was very pleasant as well. The sushi was amaizing and the food was too. We will be back for sure.

I have been here quite a few times over the years and both the quality of food and service have been better in the past. The fried rice was only rice (no extra ingredients like eggs, veggies, etc) and the yum yum sauce I asked for on the side tasted more like their sweet salad dressing. Im sure I will be back, it may have just been an off day.

The food was excellent as always but the service tonight was truly awful. Understandably it took longer than usual to get our food to the table, as they were busy, but the newer wait staff had nothing going for them. We couldnt even get a refill of beverages, and our waitress walked past our empty glasses at least five times.

The food was fantastic! The service was good, friendly, and fast. They were packed, but we walked right in, got a table and were still able to see the hibachi chefs in action. We had the sushi and were NOT disappointed. It was Fabulous. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The staff is always friendly and the food is consistently great. Service may be slow (its almost impossible to dine in on lunch), but you can always call ahead and get a pickup order. Fun hibachi chefs and accommodating staff make this a good family place too.

Im originally from the West Coast so I have frequented plenty of sushi places over the years. While I do realize that Frankfort, KY is landlocked this place was pretty overpriced for the quality of the service and food. I was pretty disappointed.

This place is the best hibachi restaurant that I have ever eaten! The lunch portion is usually plenty of food. The dinner prices are pricier, but the delicious food is well worth it! Eat around the hibachi grill for the friendly entertainment.

I just moved to the area at the beginning of June and have already eaten here 6 times! I love it!!! Best sushi of anywhere Ive been. Staff is very friendly and quick! It is a must visit for anyone! Very family and kid friendly!

Best Sushi in Frankfort! Ive only ever eaten the Crazy roll here because its SO good I want to eat it all day, every day! My son is an Army Officer who has eaten sushi all over the world and he liked it too!
