I would have never known this place was here until one of my Facebook friends raved about it. I am always up for trying something new, and I do love Mexican cuisine. When we arrived at the restaurant, the hostess greeted and sat us. Not even a minute later, our waitress took our drink orders and gave us chips and salsa. I love trying homemade salsa because it is different at every place; however, this salsa was hands down one of the best I ever had. I also noticed that they also have a different salsa that I will most likely try next time I visit. We ordered our food, and it quickly came to us. I got the Taco Loco with chicken-- it was so fresh and the ingredients mixed together so well! The manager even came to our table and asked how we were. Overall, great service and food all at a reasonable price!

We came the restaurant and they would not seat or serve my group because they said they did not have enough servers, although they had plenty of open tables. We told them that we didnt mind waiting a little while for our food. They said that they werent allowed to give us chips or drinks. I dont understand this type of service, particularly since I am writing this review in front of the hostess and telling her that Im posting a negative review on Google because of this lack of service.

Everything tastes great! There are some very healthy options on the menu as well! I am a big fan of this place and plan to visit more often. The prices are slightly higher than other Mexican restaurants. But in fairness, the ingredients here seem to be of a higher tier.

I have been here countless times - and I have never been disappointed. The service is incredible and the carne asada tacos are excellent. The chips are light and fresh, and the salsa is served with individual bowls. We love coming here and always leave with a smile.

We stopped here for a quick standard Mexican snack (i.e. some chips and salsa or taco) and were so pleasantly surprised. The food is unique and super delicious. The ingredients are top notch! I had the Carne Asada taco. Yall! Steak wrapped in cheese! What!?!?

Love this place! Of course, the asada cooked inside cheese is to die for. But how about this: great service every time, fresh ingredients, and inventive, focused menus. Best in Gainesville. Period.
