I use to love this place..... USE TOO!!!! The food is still good but the service has became a joke! The waiters are rude as they come thats if they come at all. It takes forever to to get your drinks, then forever to get your food ( your order will be wrong, I gaurentee it), the forever to get your bill. Oh and you better sip easy on your drink because you will not get a refill....unless you get up and get it yourself. As far as ordering out, make sure to check it before you leave because as I said, it will be wrong! Also give them at least 45min because if you show up in the 15min they say it will take, you will be waiting forever! Only reason I didnt give 1* is because as I said the food is still good, the service just sucks! ....

Lets set the scene... its Friday, 8:15. Say medium business. Open booths. The waitress never came by the table. Took 5 mins to get drinks. Then never came back to check. My wife didnt get a drink until we asked as she passed by after the food was brought out. Then she had an attitude the rest of the time. She never spoke to us afterwards. Heres some advice to the owner. If your going to hire straight out of Sunrise trailer park at least make sure the girl knows more English than "thank you". Now for food... the chili relleno was literally just cheese dip with a little meat in it. The rice was dry. The salsa was spicy and the margaritas are over priced. In a nut shell... if you want mexican go somewhere else.

VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! My family has been enjoying El Charro for over 25 years beginning of the Elm Street location, but tonights service was horrible. It was a family birthday celebration with out of town guests. So embarrassed ..... Waitress refused to serve a drink to the birthday girl on her 21st birthday due to a newly renewed paper license. Then she forgot to take another persons order, sit down with a friend and didnt follow up with us when our order came out....by the way, the order was incorrect. Not sure what was up...did not see any of the usually people....Under new management??? So disappointed in one of my fav stops!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Went there for my birthday Dec 21,2015 and had the worst time ever, first they sat us by the kitchen area not the windows and watch them take the thrash out and wash the kitchen floors, then the workers kept walking by the table starring at us and they got the orders wrong even when we told them clearly what we wanted, the waitress was American and acted like she didnt want to be there, this is my second time here and I will be going to the other Mexican restaurants, so Thanks for a bad ending to my birthday

Rude front register worker. Poor service. My table sat waiting for 35 minutes for a refil on drinks while multiple waiters walked by noticing our empty glasses. Another time they brought out cheese dip and we asked for more chips. Never came back with more. Manager is also unaccomodating and doesnt care about the customers. Ive been coming to El Charro for years and the food is great, as long as your waiter remembers to bring it out. I now go to Pachos for mexican.

Was there the other day with my teenage daughter and waitress came only to get our drink order then food order. Never seen her again. We never received any napkins or drink refills or ticket. When we got up to leave and walked away, the waitress stood up from a booth three down from us with her phone in her hand texting or something. The food is not bad but a little pricey for its quality. We were not happy and wont be going back.

An attractive restaurant with lots of pretty decor. The food is pretty good Mexican/American (more like Tex/Mex than Mexican). The staff is a little "chilly" with a bit of attitude. They also make you stand in a long line to pay when you are finished. They should take your money or card at your table. Dont like to stand in line to pay, especially at lunch when have to get back to work.

Mexican food is generally Mexican food but El Charro is the most consistent Mexican restaurant Ive been to. There food is good. There staff is friendly and are fast. Be prepared if you dont come early, there will he a wait. If a restaurant consistently has a wait, that must be doing something right. Especially a Mexican restaurant, they are a dime a dozen.

I always liked this place but not anymore!! They get your order wrong, just give you want ever and not what you order. Their to go orders are horrible, the bag is always full of grease and spills in your car. I would give negative stars but thats not an opinion and in order to write a review you have to choose a star.

I love this restaurant! nice people, great food, superb service... Always hot and fresh chips and salsa. They do carry out they do order and pick up... They always dress up for the holidays, and the restaurant always looks spectacular. I love this restaurant!!!

Great food but do not try to order for pick up. Ive ordered three times. The first time they forgot 3 items, the second time they gave us someone elses order, and the third time they neve even placed our order. The food is good but just eat it there.

I Called an order in and I spoke with two people and repeated my order to both of them and some how when I went to pick it up they didnt have it at all and they didnt even have it written down as an order or anything. It was just a waste of my time.
