I can honestly say without doubt or exaggeration that this was the worst place my family and I have EVER eaten! It was nasty! I took one bite of each of my items (fried egg, bacon, and hash browns) it was all covered in a thick grease and my egg was rubbery and the potatoes were soggy with grease! My Husbands gravy biscuit tasted like raw flour and my kids pancakes were burnt. We ordered the pancakes and they were supposed to have bananas but they did not and when I asked she said that they were in the pancakes but there were no bananas at all. Also this place has anything but a nice atmosphere, it is down right scary! Among the mold on the walls and the dirty floor, the chairs are so wobbly that we were scared to move with fear that they would break. That was the first and last time we will ever go! People who write best breakfast in town obviously have NEVER had a good breakfast!

Dont miss this southern cafe, a favorite spot for locals and newbys, like me. Once you step through the door, you will know that you have entered a special place, a step back into time...Chad, the owner, is charming...knows the history of the area and likes to connect with his patrons. And the food, traditional southern without the guilt...really good-for-you food! I enjoyed the vegetable plate (black eyed peas, tomatoes, fried squash, and collards) immensely. The fried squash was probably the best I have had...ever!!! Lightly battered...again, great southern food, without the guilt. We traveled down from PA and came through this town and we are so glad we stopped. Best breakfast of our whole trip! This has got to be the best sausage Ive ever had of my whole life. And the gravy biscuits were amazing, and all homemade with fresh ingredients! Will definitely be back if I am ever in the area again.
