This place is great. Its similar to other Cajun/seafood boil places, but what sets it apart is the dessert offering of Macaron ice cream sandwiches! But back to the main course: we ordered the full seafood mix which included a pound and a half of crawfish and a pound of shrimp, crabs, and choice of mussels or clams with a few potatoes, corn, and sausage (thinly sliced). You get a choice of medium or spicy for your spice. We went with medium as not everyone at the table is adept to spicy foods, but even medium has a nice amount of heat. We also got an order of 12 pc charbroiled oysters which tasted fresh and delicious (it came out pretty hot so watch your fingers). We ended with the green tea (Macaron cookie) and strawberry ice cream sandwich. The service was attentive and friendly. The table has a bin in the middle for your trash with a box of vinyl gloves (the best quality gloves compared to most other seafood boil place), and a roll of paper towels. Blazin Cajun is located in the same shopping center as I Luv Pho. Overall, I would definitely come again. Theres less options than say Red Crawfish off Sugarloaf, but if youre just craving some good boil and oysters, this will definitely satisfy you.

Ok... I had to write this review because this is my second bad experience with Blazin Cajun. The first time was when I first moved to this area 2 years ago. I got a catfish poboy and it was so greasy and under-seasonsed that I didnt eat there again up until today. With it being Jan. 1st, 2017 I really wanted some gumbo to celebrate the New Year. I ordered a bowl of gumbo and 2 corn on the cob through grubhub. Everything was downhill from there.... 1. It took over an hour to receive the food and I live literally right next door to this place. 2. The gumbo was overly spicy and so bland and underseasoned. 3. The rice in the gumbo was mushy and overcooked. 4. There were NO utensils or napkins in the bag (I guess they think people eat gumbo with their hands) 5. I only had 2 shrimp through the entire container; NO sausage; and way too many rubbery crawfish. I was totally disappointed tonight and I am done with Blazin. They honestly need a NEW cook with REAL cajun cooking experience or theyre going to lose a lot of business. I really hate writing bad reviews... But this place needs some serious improvement

I had the shrimp platter, gumbo, and calamari. All of it delicious. Shrimps were huge, and they give you really big portions. Fries came with the platter and were perfect, like Arbys fries but not curly and just better in my opinion. I ordered a small gumbo but it was really good size. I had to take it to go. It did not taste salty enough but I just added more salt. It was still good. The calamari was delicious because of the seasoning and the blazin sauce. The calamari consisted of mostly tentacles and not the more traditional little rings, which caught me by surprise but it was still yummy. I didnt like that the breading kind of fell off as I patted oil off of it, and that it was really greasy like they it went from fryer to plate. You could taste and literally see all the excess oil and I just wish the cook would pat at it. Not a big deal. And other than that it was a really great meal and I will be coming back often.

Google and yelp list their hours as opening at 10 am. We showed up at 1030 am and their hours are listed as 11 am, which is fine, we can understand. 1140 we came back and the open sign is on, open the door to see all the chairs are put up on the table and the server is mopping the floors. She says we can come in, but where exactly would we sit if all the chairs are put up on the table? We ordered cua rang me (tamarind crab) and 4 pounds of blazin cajun crawfish (spicy). They asked if we wanted live/fresh or already cooked crawfish. We, like any other person, opted for the fresh one. When the food came out, it was the most bland, tasteless seafood Ive ever had in my life. Crawfish was essentially boiled with no flavor and they were not fresh as the crawfish were dried up. Tamarind crab was flavor less and it had a strong stench because it was not cooked correctly or with adequate spice. Would not recommend and would never come back.

Great crawfish and oysters. Pretty fast service. This was BEFORE new management took over. They changed their menu and service has gone down. Oysters for $17 and they were VERY small. Very. Fried rice was not fried, in fact it was a bit soggy. Wings were crunchy. Waited 40+ min for everything. Told us there was no more crawfish but saw them bring a crap load out for another table after finishing our dinner. Also saw an employee exit the bathroom and into the main floor buckling his belt. I dont care if they werent making the food, theyre the ones serving it. Bring back the old management and better service! disappointed to say im not going back after sticking with them for awhile.

First time customer, I ordered the shrimp poboy with fries. The only reason Im giving 2 stars instead of 1 is because the portion size was decent. Honestly, Ive never had bland Cajun food until now. The sandwich itself was only flavorful because of the sauce. The shrimp were completely unflavored, not even a lick of salt. The sauce on the sandwich overtook everything and it was just .... a sandwich. The fries reminded me of McDonalds fries with a little Cajun seasoning sprinkled on top. First and last time for me.

I love Cajun food and have had authentic Cajun foods prepared by Creole and cajuns, the oriental owners of blazin Cajun should leave Cajun cooking alone! Worst supposed to be gumbo I have ever had! I mean horrible. It was some kind of hot , too spicy concoction with rice in it. Cost me $10. Had 1 prawn in it. Do not waste your money if you want Cajun food. I gave it 1 star for it being hot as in temperature of the stew

Unbelievable! I ordered a shrimp poboy for $9.99 + tax and it only came with 4 shrimp on the poboy. I politely asked the young lady behind the counter if it indeed only came with ONLY 4 shrimp to which she answered yes and offered NO additional customer service to satisfy the situation. I will not be returning and will gladly go back to New Orleans Seafood on Pleasant Hill where portions are more than enough!

Got blazing Cajun platter and gumbo . Smh spent 30 $ and Im gonna end up getting food again because I cant eat the food no flavor. Gumbo is too thick. The fries were like old mcds fries. Even the corn had some sauce on it smelled and tasted horrible. The sausage side are also not good. Disappointed ,Im from New Orleans. This aint cajun. Now tossing 30$ worth of food in trash smh
