Very small and authentic Sushi restaurant. Dont expect anything fancy. Most of the dishes are simple traditional Japanese dishes, but they dont disappoint. The staff is incredibly friendly and I find this place to be very cozy and reminiscent of restaurants Ive been to in Japan. I suggest getting the Omakase and letting the chef give you the best of what he has to offer. Are there better and fancier sushi spots in and near Atlanta? Yes, but this wont break the bank and the quality is just as good as some of the higher end shops. They just dont have all the fancy add-ons such as truffle oil, caviar, etc... If you speak Japanese, feel free to chat with the chef and some of the japanese wait staff to get that fully authentic feel!

I have traveled far and wide and this is by far the best sushi to have ever landed on my taste buds. I come here every time I am in town, and the sushi chef is always welcoming. The fish is so fresh, the sushi is to die for. One time, they were slammed, so the food took longer than usual. No problem for me, its worth the wait. But, after our delicious meal, the waitress brought us ice cream on the house and thanked us for our patience. Very considerate hosts, and the food is oh so good. Reasonably priced, too! Every time I have a friend looking for a place to eat, this is the first place I take them. I wish I could give this wonderful joint more than 5 stars!

DANGEROUS. Be Very Careful. We ordered through door dash and received our salmon skin roll filled with fish bones. When I called to ask for a refund they said there couldnt be fish bones and that it was salmon skin.THESE BONES WERE STUCK TO OTHER ROLLS, including our kappa maki(cucumber roll). When we brought the food in after the person argued about their existence they tried to say that because it was "only in the salmon skin roll" and that we ate ( we ate 4 pieces total out of 5 rolls) they shouldnt have to refund our order.

Very dissatisfied with this restaurant! There were fish bones in the crispy skin sushi. I found 4 bones in one piece of sushi. When we called the restaurant they said there were no bones in their sushi. So we drove the food to them to show them. The hostess saw the bones and was going to refund us. Then the sushi chef asked how many pieces of sushi we ate! He was told that we ate until we found bones in our sushi. He only agreed to a full refund when my sister said that it was dangerous to serve sushi with bones in it.

We were fooled by the other positive reviews, but this place is a certified dump. We should have just left after all the warning flags (sketchy outside, only people inside at first, old and stained menus, dumpy looking sushi prep area) but we were hopeful that the reviews would surprise us. We ordered bento boxes out of fear (to minimize the possibility of having bad fish). The chicken was meh, the takoyaki was meh, the sushi was terrible. Now today we all have terribly upset stomachs. Just do not go here.

Wife ordered sushi from this place and found fish bones in her food. The manager tried to argue with her that there were no fish bones, even after bringing the food back to them with the fish bones in it. Eventually the manager accepted the fact that they accidentally served fish bones but then tried to play it off as though that were a normal ingredient in sushi. Cannot tell people to avoid this place hard enough.

I have been going to this sushi spot for a little over 6 years and have never been more pleased with quality and service. The servers are always nice and never leave your drink or soy sauce empty. I used to go everyday during football season they always changed it to football as soon as I walked in. Please dont ever leave.

Ordered fried squid appetizer and chirashi. Food came out quick (on a saurday evening) and the chirashi was excellently made by an older japanese sushi chef. Very fresh cuts of fish and generous for $25. And our waitress was very attentive too! Even poured our soy sauce for us!

Been here 6 or 8 times over the past few years and its always really good. Fresh fish with attention to preperation, and the sever (I think shes also the family that owns the place) is the sweetest lady. Price, quality, service... all top notch. We will be back.

Ordered Bento box #C. tasty Sushi and Sashimi and Salmon. Good portion too. I do not remember when is last time I felt stuffed after going to a Japanese restaurant. Definitely will come back again when I am in the area. Jann

Fantastic fish, amazing sushi rice, and delicious skewers. Not to mention Asahi on tap! Dont be in a rush, relax and have some wonderful food from a nice family-run restaurant.
