This place is a good hour+ drive from me and totally worth it. The staff is always very friendly, the atmosphere is cozy and theres usually not a wait for a table. As far as menu options, its pretty standard stuff for the most part (pancakes, eggs, potatoes, various meats for breakfast. Burgers, fries, hoagies, chicken for dinner) wth some exceptions but since Perkins closed in Eastgate there hasnt been anywhere to get good pancakes on the east side. Country inn is still a bit of a drive from even there but those pancakes are very much worth it. Theyre huge, taking up a whole plate, and slathered with butter/syrup to your liking its the best breakfast in town IMO. The burgers are great as well. Big and greasy just the way they should be for a place like this. They have their own version of the big boy which is what I normally get but I imagine they would fix you up with whatever you like. The fries vary from time to time which I appreciate. It keeps some element of mystery in things. They may be crinkle cut one time, steak fries the next, and so on. There are desert options but Ive never had room for such things. Overall, a great place to try if youre ever near the area.

It is clean and the servers are nice. The menu is a little boring, not a lot of healthy choices. In fairness there is some fish and vegetable sides, but would love to see more variety in the salads and fresher options. Desserts are very good.

The bacon that we ordered was burnt. We kindly asked for bacon that wasnt burnt. The waitress brought fresh bacon that tasted like it had been dipped in grease, as it had a nasty burnt french fry taste. Not happy at all with the service

My favorite place to eat out. I very seldom get the same thing because I havent found anything I dont like. From chicken to fish or bake potatoes and fries, wraps. salad and fruit bowl. Very delicious food and never go away hungry.

Great food good service. My 9yr old son didnt want to try it. Once we were there he fell in love. I recommend the pork chops and the 4piece chicken dinner. Breakfast is awesome too

Service is great, and the Buffalo Chicken Wrap was good, but the quality of the food left something to be desired. Not bad though, and the restaurant is clean and inviting!
